They were probably only choosing to mentor women they wanted to gain the trust of and get close enough to fuck anyway. How many of you choose to mentor someone simply for the purpose of grooming a company asset or seeing someone personally excel? For black men I'd buy them grooming a sista to get more representation of black folks in an office or industry, but men in general? Nah.
Get the fuck out of here. Fuck these ho bitches. When blacks are discriminated against, we don’t wait 20 years to complain. We don’t conveniently have dozens of stories the minute a so called movement starts.White men say the same shit about black people after racial discrimination lawsuits
Only hire ugly fat women.
This is wonderful! All of these bum bitches will learn. You’ll see a major decline in women hirings and that’ll be fine by me. Women make terrible employees anyway.
Dumb bitches ALL want to be seen as “sexy” all the time, regardless of the venue. Bitches go out of their way to highlight every part of their body that will attract men, then if a nigga says good morning, they write him up on a harassment charge.
Women show clevage, wear outfits that compliment their asses, accent their lips with lipstick, draw attention to their eyes via eye makeup and fake eye lashes... they do all of this shit while at work, then talk about they want to be judged based off of their intelligence... lmao...
Women use all of these antics solely for their advantage... they will get promotions, easier assignments, special favors from male bosses who find them attractive. Women are so full of shit

not the same. accusations are assumed to be true for women.
not hiring based on racial discrimination lawsuits is just an excuse.
anyone doing what you suggest is just a bigot, who dont want to hire black people.
potentially having to deal with sexual accusations is a real liability in this climate.

Yep, I honestly treat my female students differently now that this movement have took place.
I like paying compliments because I consider myself a gentleman, but now I'm hesitant.
I cant speak fir all men in general.
But you make a fair point.
I can't see myself mentoring a white woman
.
I've always treated women I've hired, etc differently. I don't have any non-business related contact with them. Like I rarely even get off of non-project related topics with them.
Yeah, trying to navigate all this can be cumbersome at times.
I treat my female students and co-workers differently. But I'm really no threat to these folks and they open up to me in ways I never asked for.

I guess it just depends on people's personality. I'm naturally off-putting and closed unless we're really close. So this type of shit will never be a problem for me.
However, I can understand if you're a charismatic person that just really likes people and a woman takes something the wrong way.
i would love to actually see more women in the automotive mechanic field but then at the same time alot of dudes are not
going to be feeling that shit....so intill then i can keep hitting on my females custo's....![]()
Damn, are you the defender of everything woman? I hate beta niggas who assume a man was hurt by a woman JUST because he’s speaking out against them. You sound exactly like an illogical idiot broad. Don’t quote me anymore bitch. I don’t deal with your kind.Who hurt you?!? Seriously...

The reason you don't may have more to do with the equality of OUTCOME more than the equality of OPPORTUNITY. Women in aggregate don't pursue STEM field, automotive, or construction. Not that they CAN'T or not ENCOURAGED or don't have the APPTITUDE....they just don't.
*two cents*
I had to implement this practice. Sometimes they actively encourage flirtation. Then when they mad at you you're suddenly harassing them.I've always treated women I've hired, etc differently. I don't have any non-business related contact with them. Like I rarely even get off of non-project related topics with them. No compliments...we ain't at the club
The real problem with the #metoo movement has nothing to do with false sexual harassment issues. The real problem is that the focus is on protecting white women and not addressing the real problem: white men abusing their positions of power. When you look at the real problem, you have to look at all the victims...which aren't just women and they definitely aren't all white.

It's a bit nuanced and the reason why women leave often has a lot to do with dealing with discrimination:

light skins always losing. There is this guy that sits next too me almost ever day he's a black guy, but he looks Hispanic or something. Light skin, curly hair, slim build. Just this week one of the managers was saying something inappropriate to him, in front of me and other co-workers. This other guy lost his position behind harassing him and some other men. Even afterward he was contacting him, making overtures. He claims he is straight with a fiance, (I sometimes get a fem vibe from him) regardless, the manager was out of line. He was rubbing on his back and everything. He tries not to be confrontational, but the number of gay guys flirting with him is ridiculous.
Peace,
Agreed. I’ve performed ethnicity and gender disparity audits and shared the information with upper management for years and I’ve never seen white, male managers take women under their wing if it wasn’t company-coerced or they weren’t doing it to get their sexual needs met.
