I listen to Tariq and Umar because they both got good info to share but often I have to ask about Tariq is he productive? He likes to quote Neely Fuller Jr a lot and Neely Fuller often says when doing something you must first ask is it productive? Viewing Tariqs actions towards other black men I'd have to say not all the time. In fact it's very few of his peers that he's had constructive interaction with. I'm not trying to hate on him but I think it's getting close to the time where we start asking is it them or is it him?

I like Hidden Colors but damn Tariq acts like a female way too often. These roasts are silly as hell for a grown man to be doing.Addessing it once and "exposing" Umar as a fraud is appropriate,but a grown man doing puppet shows,gossiping on another man's dick,teasing him because he is chubby,commenting on another man's cold sore etc etc is just childish as hell for a 40something year old dude to do. Umar's response of pointing out that Tariq hired an all white film crew for his documentary about "White Supremacy" obviously hurt his feelings. It's just sad seeing two talented brothers bickering like this over their egos. Responding and moving on is more respectable than two grown men trying to "drag" each other on Social Media like a pair of Basketball Wives.

Started looking at Boyce last month, before all of this, and I got a divided feeling about him. It looks like he wants to give out info and help, but he seems to be too tabloid gossipy for my taste. I don't trust him really. AND I think he instigated the Umar & Tariq beef a lil bit.
Umar is/was cool when he sticks to opinions on black unity and how we can be a better people. But I gathered that he started talking about Tariq after the stripper thing and that was just stupid. Any credibility he had with me was lost after say, the end of November 2017.
Tariq.. I still listen to him, but he lost a lot of cool points with this "beef." I'm like... dude... if you had just taken the high road and didn't even speak on this, or you issued a statement and just said this dude has his own demons to fight, I'm not entertaining this, then he would have been good with me. But I'm glad to see so many other bros say that they didn't like him going down this road.
Maybe they should have talked about it privately, maybe not, but all of these are grown ass men and whether you want to be seen as a leader or not, Tariq is a leader if for nothing else, doing what he said he would do with the donations for the Hidden Colors series. And the white film crew is a stupid strawman argument that has no foundation. If he hired all black folks and the production was garbage, people would talk about him. He did what he did, and people talk about him. Personally I feel like he does: it doesn't matter about black or white, THE PRODUCT is what matters. Besides, I've heard numerous times about him wanting to hire competent black folk but instead he gets those people who want you to look the other way about their shitty skills. How about these specific black folk with no skills sit the f down and shut up, or go get the skills and stop asking for you to overlook their shortcomings? How about you put PRIDE in your work? IJS
