Report: Gruden wants Jets OC Morton on staff
The New York Daily News reports Jon Gruden is targeting Jets OC John Morton for his staff if Gruden takes the Raiders' head-coaching job.
Morton worked on Gruden's previous Raiders staffs and is widely credited with helping to resurrect Josh McCown's career in 2017 with the Jets, getting the most out of personnel that was considered among the league's worst entering the season. Per the Daily News, the Jets would not block Morton from moving if Gruden gets the job and Morton wants to follow him to Las Vegas, where the Raiders are expected to begin playing in 2018. Losing Morton would be a huge blow to the Jets, who just signed GM Mike Maccagnan and head coach Todd Bowles to contract extensions.

They fucked up signing Beastmode. Much as I like him he was in the gotdamn way. Didn't click with the offense at all. Plus he ran on the field to protect an opposing teams player family or not you don't do that. Defense had too many bum ass players point blank. The last 2 years 1st and 2nd round picks didn't pan out. Too much disfunction. Crabtree's a bitch I could go on and on.

Your not speaking truth. Del Rio was a head coach he didn't call offensive plays matter of fact his speciality was defense. Marshawn is an aging RB who they signed to butter up the fans in Oakland. Due to the fact they didn't have a definite date on completion on the Vegas stadium. They have to play in Oakland a few more years and still wanted the fans to come out sell out games. What better move than the hometown hero it was not a football decision all publicity.
