I have seen teams with much worse defenses, but I have never one position give up 6 sacks. I have seen a whole line give up 11 sacks, but never one player dominating the same position, with 2 different players used. Garrett should have used max protection after the second sack, but I knew he wouldn't. That shit happened to Aikman and Romo against Eagle's blitzes for years, Cowboys would refuse to max protect.
Tyron Smith is way more important. Sean Lee makes an average defense respectable, but the defense has been average to bad since Sean Lee arrived.
I agree with the max protect part, put in a 2nd tight end to at least "chip" the edge rusher from Green's side.
As hard as it may be for you all to admit....one player (Elliot) defines you alls entire team.
Its crazy how mediocre so many of those guys look when Elliot aint there.

I repeat, no team in NFL history has ever lost there top player in each unit, and won shit. Dak ain't going to do shit on Thanksgiving either if Tyron Smith does not play, and the defense is going to struggle again without Sean Lee. Thankfully, they should have 2 future Hall of Famer's back (Smith and Bailey) and Sean Lee back after the break, then Zeke will be the only core player out.
If they can't beat the Chargers, Giants, and Skins, get to 8-5, Garrett might get fired at season's end.
The problem has always been Garrett, Romo just threw ketchup, seasoning salt, and mayo on that bullshit playbook to make it look better. Green Bay is the same way, Aaron Rodgers makes an average to below average squad look above average when he plays.

That's a myth. Dez never been open. Dak likes to throw to wide open receivers. Dez doesn't get much seperation. I'm not faulting Dak for that. But that's the dilemma here. Dez is in his late 20's.....that guy is still aggressive and strong and fast as he ever was. Even with Romo....do you remember how that shit was? Him and Romo couldn't do shit together at first.
Morris has been running well. Zeke is a great back. Zeke makes or decent running game great. He's also great in pass protection. Dak's blindside is fucked. He has no confidence in this line. I guess y'all enjoy them two step drops and 2 yard passes. I'm not a fan. That's product of Tyron being out.

If you dont see that Dez is not the same guy he was before the injuries then theres nothing i can tell you. He's lost speed, explosion and quickness off the line, change of direction is gone, and Dez used to have YAC, and thats gone too. Even the jump ball ability isnt what it used to be.
Anyways, as far as the running game goes, they are just screwed without Elliot. You can make a case that Tyron is more important to that offense, but they clearly miss both guys a whole lot. Even with time to pass Dak has struggled when the defense isnt focused on stopping the run first.

One thing this team needs to do is get some speed man. I've seen enough of these niggas not getting separation. If we gonna stick by this shitty ass playbook....they better get some faster guys to run it. Slow ass Witten and co. not gonna cut it.

Get draft a speedy receiver(Calvin ridley), get Josh Gordon and earl Thomas in off season. We need some new blood at skilled positions.The old Jerry would make moves like that but he has been cheap lately. You saw the eagles and the rams make off season moves and got much better this season. I don't think they are that far away even though it was a down season but they got to do some major work in the off season.
