YOU can be annoying at times.

The thread is going good because all your hater ass friends are in here co signing yo ass . Nigga trying to make ANOTHER IT4 for Kyrie thread knowing damn well it was already like three threads on it

1) Get the fuck on you ain't know the threads existed but you posted in THIS THREAD before you started your own

2) Come on buddy you can do better than this. The entire reason this trade went down was 100% because if LeBron James. I'm the whinier but not the nigga that wants to sacrifice going to the NBA Finals so he can be the focal point aka shoot 35% every night....which he was gonna do anyway when/if LeBron left.

Let me ask you this and this will establish if your a troll once and for all:

Does it make any sense for you to say your tired of living in a once in a lifetime players shadow and want your own team when the said player could leave next summer and you would inherit the team?

Nope... like I said, I'm talking about the trade. I'm not interested whatsoever in revisiting how we got here and contributing to your lil ode to LeBron sonnet. My views on that topic are all over this thread 'when that element was the topic of discussion'.... you wanna see my views, search for them. You wanna talk about this trade, I'm good with that.

Not engaging in any whiney LeBron dialog today tho Bruh... that's all you playa.

Carey on tho, do you

I'll accept your defeat  only gonna talk about the trade instead of how we got here...sounds alot like how cacs wanna talk about Kaep kneeling and not why he does it and how it got to that point :giggle:

Your ignoring a huge part of the equation. Even tho that part of the equation is a tag in this thread

You are the winner!!! Hurray!!! :D

Kyrie is not taking the Celtics to the Finals because HE LIKES TO DRIBBLE and SHOOT TO MUCH!!! What he meant when he said he wanted a bigger role was that he wanted to be on a team where he could bring the ball up the court EVERYTIME and then DECIDE if he wanted to shoot or not. If you noticed last year with the Cavs Kyrie was the point guard but Lebron brought the ball up the court most of the time. Before Lebron got to Cleveland Kyrie would bring the ball up the court 95% of the time and then decide if he wanted to dribble around for 15 seconds and shoot or pass the ball. Anyone that remembers watching the Cavs pre-Lebron knows Kyrie shot the ball almost everytime he brought it up the court

Some of you was clowning when I post this and said they would never do that....

That just like the wolves owner saying he wasn't gonna trade Kevin Love for a college player...cavs threw them picks in there and that shit changed quickly.

I didn't know what was gonna happen, just knew Kyrie didn't want to go back to the Cavs. His ass wasn't happy two weeks after signing his extension....his ass wasn't happy after hitting one of the biggest shots in finals history, for all we know his ass might not be happy at the moment.

Celtics wants to know what's up

Kyrie Irving trade rumors: Boston Celtics reportedly placed 'obligatory call' to Cleveland Cavaliers, but deal seems unlikely

The Boston Celtics are on a long list of teams that have placed an "obligatory call" to the Cleveland Cavaliers about Kyrie Irving, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

In an informative piece detailing some of the Cavaliers' options, Lowe added that the Celtics, like "most teams," have let Cleveland "know they would like to be kept in the loop."

Boston president of basketball operations Danny Ainge should be doing his due diligence, checking in on any disgruntled star. But even with the lines of communication open, a deal between the two teams should not be expected or even considered much of a realistic possibility. Lowe believes a Boston-Cleveland trade "seems unlikely."

As the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics and Cavaliers presumably won't want to risk fortifying each other. For that reason alone, it would be shocking for them to strike a blockbuster deal. Even if they were willing to ignore their standing as chief Eastern Conference competitors, the Celtics and Cavaliers would have a tough time finding common ground.

While it's neat to debate whether a team should prefer Irving or Isaiah Thomas, it's not easy to create a realistic trade proposal involving both players. Because of Thomas' small contract, the Celtics would need to add at least one more valuable piece (maybe Jae Crowder) to any offer. While Irving's age (25), contract length (two more years plus a player option) and playoff history are all preferable to Thomas', it would be rare to give up additional value to acquire a player at the same position coming off a less productive regular season.

Irving is supremely talented. He has a track record of playoff brilliance and, unlike Thomas, no uncertainty regarding his hip. But after several seasons alongside James, there are still real questions about Irving's game. Can he lift up his teammates? Can he be more than one of the world's most dangerous isolation scorers? How much will Irving miss James? And in what new ways can Irving flourish without James?

The answers aren't clear. Even if they were, it would be difficult for Boston and Cleveland to put together a sensible trade. In my opinion, at least, this proposal would not fall into the category:

It would be misguided for the Celtics to give up a similarly productive player to Irving (Thomas), one of the NBA's best contracts (Crowder) and one of the league's top assets (the Nets pick). Maybe there's a balance to be found somewhere, but this offer would not be it.

It would be helping the Cavaliers now (if Thomas isn't better than Irving by himself, Thomas and Crowder are) and in the future (hello, lottery pick from Brooklyn). It would be Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge giving James more reasons to stay in the Eastern Conference beyond his current contract. It would be Cleveland's front office doing this to Ainge:

No, no, no, no, no. And no. Ainge only gets dunked on by his son.

This feels like a more reasonable offer:

Maybe throw a non-Brooklyn or -LA pick in there. But, really, any theoretical offer feels far-fetched. The last thing Ainge would ever want to do is entice James to stay in Cleveland. Ainge should be praying every night for a Western Conference team to lure James next summer, thereby opening the door for Boston to rule the East. Ainge should desperately want the Cavaliers to find weak value on the trade market. He should want the Cavaliers to collapse.

Considering how wobbly Cleveland seems now, the Irving trade request could ultimately benefit Boston. But it would be stunning if the Celtics land him. Actually, I would bet just about anything they won't.

Yup that's kinda why Waiters two pieced him.
Waiters would get fused, subbed out...etc for doing the same exact things as Unc.
They kinda played the same way...attacked with the ball.

Kyrie probably wants to be in the position where he can win without Lebron.
Kyrie probably wants to put on like Brodie...
Kyrie probably want to travel to the edge of this flat earth...

Kyrie do you know what the hell it is that you want?

And all sports media came together and decided to push the LIE that "Kyrie is the best closer in the NBA", "Kyrie is the best finisher in the NBA", "Kyrie is the best ball-handler in the NBA", where the fuck are they getting this shit from. Steph Curry has shown the last few years that that is a lie, Kyrie is living off that one shot he hit when the Cavs won the championship

Do you watch Kyrie play...I don't know who's better at finishing at the rim...

DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin...Rudy Gobert....

Ball handling is tops him and steph...that's what makes him a top closer...

Finishers ummmm if he's healthy he's top 3

I've watched him for years and like I've been saying the last few years he dribbles, dribbles, dribbles, but most of the time he goes nowhere. I said over and over how Steph will do 2 moves and then make his move to the basket or shoot the 3, Kyrie will do 3-4 moves and still be in the same place. He is constantly looking for that highlight/Uncle Drew moment

I'll never forget that nigga was wildin out the last few mins of the finals last year check the 5:32 mark...

That don't mean is not the top finisher, that don't mean he doesn't have the handles...that does mean he's not a top closer...

And Thomas is a different player? lol
Did we not literally just watch the celtics make it to the finals while Thomas came up and did the exact same thing you described? Where everyone stood around and waited for him to decide what he wanted to do?

Of course they did and you see the outcome lol
Teams just trying to be like hey can we have Klay?
And the warriors are like NAH

and then people come out with the story after the fact trying to insinuate that Klay is on an imaginary block lol

Same shit with the Paul George thing.

Warriors ain't call nobody they calling the warriors and the warriors are saying hell nah
