I agree with what you are saying in the fact that the NFLPA and players both current and former should be on the front line of this
The league can't go on without African American players it's time for them to act like it
NFL Network & Red Zone free with DirecTV package (I work over customer service every fall)
This is how you do it - hit 'em in the pocketbook.
Announce the boycott @ the rally to let people see a sponsor they happen to commerce with and see where it goes from there...
I'm not fighting for some million dollar niggas - in what ultimately is a labor dispute- that don't want to fight for themselves.
Show me ONE player with some nuts to stand by Kaep by boycotting and I'll stand by that player.

It won't take much. The NFL sucks anyway. I'd rather watch cricket, soccer, or bowling than the NFL.
Maybe in the future, but as for right now how but we start with the NFL and it's sponsors and go from there.

This in essence is a labor dispute. Management is telling the labor force to "stay in there lane" because the chief client doesn't like certain social commentary with its product and made an example out of one of the foremen for emphasis of that point.
Why aren't the workers protesting? Why is a smaller portion of the clientele base being asked to boycott- and chastised if they don't- on the workers behalf as they still work?
Most picket lines have the workers themselves in them.
No one can give me a legitimate reason for these simple inquires.

It's obvious some people are just gonna keep watching and that's cool. What I don't get is why so many are taking this zero sum stance on it and trying to act like 1 or a few of our issues can't be their own thing while we as a collective try to get on the same page. Either help people get where you brothers shouting it down MUST be, or simply stay silent. Why the need to act like anyone up for the boycott, but not perfectly boycotting everything else are wrong. Or that not enough players are mad enough to miss games so why should I??? Not saying you, or the homie NYC are. But why is it always some crabs in a barrel type shit going on EVERYTIME enough of us are trying to organize???

I downgraded my DirecTV package so no more ESPN/ESPN2, NBA TV, TV One, DIY but I have NFL Network. Customer Service saved me from dropping them all together; asked why - I told them to save $$$, blah,blah,blah.
I asked about current promotions and I got Showtime FREE for 6 mos. & Red Zone FREE for the season.

nah..i've juss been on this board a for yrs and have seen various issues come up and even certain situations where people were asking to boycott certain things..some of those causes were actually good to me..but many excuses were thrown out why people weren't goin to do or how it was stupid, etc.. now to me a way lesser cause has been brought up and all of a sudden bgol is putting more energy into this than other 1's.. i'm looking like why is this 1 being pushed more than the other bigger causes.. you see it's like if a bunch of students were in a fucked up school.. they got limited and fucked up school books, overcrowded classrooms, the facility is dirty and has a lot of damage, they got shitty teachers, lot of violence is goin on in campus..they got all these issues that should be address and are protest worthy, yet some kid goes we should do a boycott of coming to school until we get light bulbs that last 5 mins longer.. if you a student u'd go wait what..with all these bigger issues u picking light bulbs that last 5 mins longer and not gonna address the other situations..if u get light bulbs are you now happy and that is it.. this is what the kap situation seem to me compared to other boycotts we've talked about on here

As far as what my boycott of the NFL is supposed to accomplish... Shit... I know people aren't gonna stop watching the NFL, hell there's a good bit saying they aren't that won't make is past week 2. Oh, not NFL Ticket. I don't spend Sun. afternoons watching games for years. Catch scores late to track BGOL Pool picks for the past couple years.
I miss not having TV One the most, then Centrix for the music videos in the morning.
I turned off MSNBC/CNN/TV networks morning news as they all think Cheetos tweets are news.

If they want help they need to stand up and maybe put the season in question. When those owners realize there's no TV revenue and no attendees at the games they'll find Kap a spot.
Kap wins, the players, the players union and the fans all win.
