UFC 214 Jon Jones Vs Danny Cormier

I wish the divisions and title pictures were more clear at 170 and 185lbs respectively.

- Is GSP coming back? He last fought in November 2013.

- How many years does Maia have left? He's closing in on 40yo. Lost to Silva at 185 in 2010. Lost to Woodley at 170 yesterday.

- Jacare has the recent losses to Whittaker and Romero

- Rockhold lost the 185lb title to Bisping in June 2016, and has been off since. He competes against Branch in Sept' (Branch is the former 2-division WSOF champion)

- Lawler won yesterday - but lost the title to Woodley in July 2016. He was off for nearly 1 calendar year

- Whittaker is currently off with injury. He will probably return in early-2018

- Bisping beat Rockhold in June, and Henderson in the fall of last year (Sept' or Oct')

- How much longer does Romero have in the sport ... to get another contention/title fight ... before he retires?

Funny thing is if Stephen Thompson fought Maia, he wouldve lost so damn fast it aint funny.

Dana should match them up and see how much fans would love it

Agreed. Wonderboy would know he wasn't dealing with Woodley's powerful striking or wrestling ... and would amp up his takedown defense, and try to style on Maia with the spin kicks & more. Maia running after him looking to clinch & single leg & double leg him ...

Tyron is so delusional. His post conference comments are just ridiculous. He has become a boring fighter and wants all the praise in the world for being the best.

All those "smart" fighter comments are true, but this is BIG TIME PRIZE fighting.
No. YOURE delusional. Youve allowed Danas lying ass and the average white trash internet bigoted fan to skew your perception. Ty fought a great fight.. To stuff a BJJ and ground specialist 20 times and manage to engage cautiously and land punches strategically is fucking impressive. He engaged and fought.. and everytime i throw a hook he would have to stuff a take down... If a white fighter would have had a similar performance he would be heralded as smart and strategic.. Ty gets labeled boring because you cats insist he fight like a mindless savage. When he kicks ass they say he is a boring personality and thats why he wont get a huge payday...When he fights a smart fight they say hes fights are boring... but the minute he gets his ass kicked they gonna say he doesnt perform when it counts so he cant get a huge pay day. Its all bullshit. And Danas criticism is laughable... same piece of shit that publicly shits on Bones for "doping" but smiles like a smitten bitch whenever anyone mentions Brocks overrated, barely 500 ass as he is still suspended for juicing. Same Dana who tough talked GSP who made him a shit ton of cash and swore he would never fight for the company again. Wake up man.

Man please.....

I agree 100% with you ....100%. At the end of the day though, Dana and ANY smart business man can see that Tyron has changed how he fights, at least for now. Dana can't take a chance of making that fight and people not buy it because Tyron might fight safe again. They could lose millions of dollars.
I know what you mean. But Tyron's strategy is going to pay off if he keeps it up. Because at the end of the day he has something valuable. The belt. And GSP can go fight a superfight..and all those other fighters can be in exciting fights and make a name for themselves, but in order to hold up that gold, they have to come see Tyron. And whether Dana likes it or not the title fight ..especially if it's against GSP will have to headline.

Big deal.... I guess if that's what drives him, then OK, but Woodley wants the money fights. Your record does not matter in UFC, it's your ability to fight in spectacular fashion or you better have a gimmick, or be from Canada or Ireland. It's just that simple. Tyron DOES NOT connect w/ the fans. He is blowing opportunities with his brooding attitude and safe fighting.

Plus, you mention Jones and Silva, they are exciting fighters and show their complete MMA skills in just about every fight. Woodley is a power puncher. He is not going to be submitting anyone anytime soon. So he stops a bunch of take downs, who cares! Do what got you there. That's what people want and that's what will get him the respect and adulation that he is craving.
There was a time my friend when that same Dana, was at the podium talking shit about Anderson Silva's performance and shitting on him terribly. Dana is a lying ass tool, that would never have the heart to get in that cage. He should stfu. Like I said. If Woodley knocks the hell out of his next few opponents, nobody will even be talking about this

Ironically enough, it was when Anderson fought Damien Maia  Yeah, I remember that. Anderson was just clowning around TOO much.
Whoever Woodley fights next will get their head taken off. Now dude will be pissed.
I guarantee he will start his post fight interview with " ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!!!"

If they have a problem with the way woodley fights why don't they schedule different opponents for him... They say styles makes fights right

Yeah I'm gonna have to go ahead and agree with juuuust about 100% of this post.

Dana spent years suckin Rousey s dick when all she did was simply arm bar opponents.
The piece of shit was one of the main guys saying she would beat Mayweather. Nothing Dana says is to be taken seriously or trusted. Same guy who swore he would NEVER sign a female fighter and when his companies hype was dying down rode a female novelty act to prominence. During the Woodley presser Dana swore Bisping would never fight GSP and that the "ship had sailed". He told Woodley straight up all he had to do was win Saturday and the GSP fight was his..

Immediately after the fight he publicly shits on Woodley- a guy who should be being promoted as the sports next face or one of them- and says GSP will fight Bisping. Dana is a petulant bitch and overrated business man.

yea he fuckin nailed it...

Ya'll gettin' emotional about business.

Tyron's new "let me fight safe and just keep the belt" style of fighting is NOT what got him to be a champion and it's not what ANY of us want to see.

Dana is trying to make money and in turn Tyron will make a shitload of money.

BTW.......Any promotion would say the same about how Tyron is fighting right now.

What a piece of shit...:smh:

Mind you he fucked over Ariel Helwani on some petty unprofessional ho shit as well. Ariel did nothing but promote, support, and hype the organization for years..

I will let you guys see the common theme between the guys he so openly shits on. Guys who all happened to have made him tons of cash btw.

Now, I will agree that he has been extra petty to Ariel Helwani.

So, why you don't interview folks right after they've been tko'd...? Joe Rogan ain't shit..

I doubt they match them up. The UFC is very racist and gives white fighters every opportunity to get a title but make the black fighters take the toughest road. The Sterling-Barao fight is an example. They make him fight a catchweight fight against the guy that dominated the class above him? That was ridiculous but Sterling still won. GSP was more "boring" than Woodley but they LOVED him.Woodley fought a very intelligent fight against Maia who is the second best in the division. Maia would definitely sub Wonderboy. Now watch them give Gustaffson ANOTHER shot.
