NBA offseason 2016-2017...NBA offseason best in sports....This offseason is lit to the 3rd degree!!

Wow.. I last read they extended the qualifying offer and had something on the table but he was going to field offers and they would match if they could. Wonder if they got tired of waiting on him or if they are working on something behind the scenes. They gave dude a shot when no one else would too. Wiz should have given him an offer and let Otto walk.

Yeah they could've paid him half of what Otto is getting and they still have Kelly

That's actually what they should've did

Not sure if the Nets need him since they have RHJ. I think Simmons is better though.

Edit: Nets need to address the center position quick.

Got RHJ playing PF. I don't know if we go after him seeing how we just got Carroll.

I think we get a center with one of those two way contracts otherwise we rock with what we got right now. Just wait for the rookie to get adjusted and put on some weight

They may still be working on something with him. Hard to say.

He can create his own shot. Thats for sure. He would have been a great bench player for the Wiz.
yep, and that was one of the issues yall face when wall and beal went to the bench. He would definitely flourish in yalls system.

Mavs are stupid

Wasn't that always the plan? I been hearing the max since we traded for him......not that he's worth it but because he's young, a big man and a former lottery pick. I thought when Tristan Thompson got his contract that would become the standard for big men.

The contract Thompson got and the contract Noel will get if he signs won't be the same

Noel will actually make more

And if that was the plan then why haven't they agreed that may be Noel's plan but the Mavs clearly are trying to get him for a little less than that

surprised simmons didn't get locked up by the spurs. he is a baller. he always fights always plays hard on both ends when given the opportunity can create his own shot and is just overall good value
any team that gets him is going to be rewarded. and really there is no overpaying for a player that is going to go 100 when he's on the court.

wizards should've just said fuck you otto and gotten simmons and probably would've gotten more production based on the way the team is built on simmons.. he'd be running with wall to the rim that'd be a crazy 1,2,3, combo in the east.

Spurs probably got 3 more Simmons stashed away overseas you know how they do.

I've read they want him at 18-20 million a year......I just assumed Noel was playing the market.......he sees everyone else getting overpaid he's trying to get as much as he can. Mavs just waiting for someone to offer him something so they can offer the same or a little more.

I mean he's 23......they don't want to run the offense through him just be able to catch oops and protect the paint and get rebounds. Do what Tyson Chandler became.
Meh. Good luck with that. He's a very good defender. Just have to do what you said catch and dunk. That's it. I've seen too many games live where I was ready to throw big ass soft pretzels at dat pussy for havin the ball go off his legs and out of bounds en shit. :smh:

If you allow Rondo to play his game, it should be all good. Any team bringing in Rondo should know how he rolls.
Yea, SAC and Bulls knew too... still had issues. The concerning thing is Gentry isn't the same kind of coach as those 2. He isn't quite Lionel Hollins, but he doesn't take shit from players.

Well he is on the right team to get overpaid. Get that cash man!

hopefully he develops for yall fam, but he doesnt have the hands tyson had. i cant count how many times perfect lobs were thrown for him and the ball boy ending up needing to chase the ball down :smh:

Tyson wasn't Tyson until he got with the Mavs which was in his late 20s.....i'm not saying he's gonna be Tyson.....but the Mavs see a young 23 year old who can be a rim protector. He gave them 10 points a game last year....that's all they need and want. Who knows what his ceiling is......but whatever it is....he'll hit his potential in Dallas....whatever that potential may be he will hit it here.

Well put it like this.....36,11 and 8.....and his dad was "distracting" him..... He handling that distraction fine. Doing what. Rookie suppose to do.....getting better with each game.

His father, not him. Ultimately we have other things to worry about other than Lonzo D. It's hard to hate on Lonzo. He's a real good dude who just wants to ball.

He's impressing me with his ability to handle adversity and the outside noise

I told someone up here that his demeanor might be a good thing. It's like how Eli always has that awww shucks look like he doesn't give a fuck, so he's able to easily get past his interceptions where as another QB would focus on them.

People are rooting for him to fail so they can laugh at his dad . :hmm:

I never know what the Spurs be doing on the off season.

Have they even solved their PG issue yet?
