DAMN RAYMOND FELTON HAS MADE OVER 50 MILL IN HIS CAREER :eek2:
SOUTH CAROLINA NATIVE RIGHT THERE

Boston would now need a series of transactions to create cap space for Gordon Hayward. The Celtics would have to pull the qualifying offer on Kelly Olynyk, renounce free agents Jonas Jerebko, James Young, Gerald Green and waive the contracts of Jordan Mickey and Demetrius Jackson (or trade). The Celtics would be left with $27.6M in room and likely need to move the contract of Terry Rozier or Marcus Smart. Trading Rozier would have the Celtics short $1M of a max salary a lot.

Bobby Marks, ESPN

How is this just coming up? All that I've read and listened to with this Hayward talk would lead you to believe Boston had the space to just sign him outright. Fucking pathetic coverage. :smh::angry:

I'm not sure if the "series of transactions"-- mainly moving those contracts-- is being presented as a real obstacle or not from that write up.

So Heyward is signing with Boston..........interesting....

I think they let Porter go and go with Oubre. Allowing them to build their bench. Lack of a bench is what killed them last season.
Oubre is not the answer. Dude thinks he is some kind of tough guy. His presence hurts them often when he is on the floor.

Not long term but just for next year. You give Porter that contract, they can't make moves for next season (to obtain Boogie or PG13).

Additionally, they still can't build their bench by giving Porter the max. Still their most glaring weakness

Can't afford it. 75 mil in three players (Conley, Parsons, Gasol)

Don't nobody talk to me about unfair contracts as Chandler parsons has fleeced 2 teams in a row and hasn't been healthy a full season lol
signed a mega contract was hurt OPTED OUT FOR MORE MONEY someone else maxed him out missed the entire season lol
