A hip-hop personality implicated in the fatal May 2016 Irving Plaza shooting pleaded guilty Thursday to two federal weapons counts.

Daryl Campbell, who uses the name "Taxstone," copped to possessing a firearm as a felon and receiving a firearm in interstate commerce relating to the May 25, 2016 shootout.

The gunplay on Irving Plaza's third floor left three injured — including Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave, with whom Taxstone openly had a beef.

Troy Ave's bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, died in the crossfire.

While the Manhattan U.S. Attorney's office did not charge Campbell, 31, with a federal murder charge, they told Judge Lorna Schofield he brought a firearm to Irving Plaza and "fired one shot that killed Ronald McPhatter" as well as additional shots during the confrontation.

Campbell faces up to 20 years in federal lockup.

Prosecutors have claimed they discovered Campbell's DNA on the murder weapon used during the deadly melee.

Prosecutors have also alleged DNA from Troy Ave, whose legal name is Roland Collins, and DNA from McPhatter, were found on the gun.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office has charged Collins with attempted murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting.

Collins has contended he wrestled the gun away from the shooter — and fired back to defend himself.

All for what? Because he talked shit on his podcast about beating niggas ass cuz you don't like rappers.

the murder charge is going to be coming soon. he admitted to bringing the gun in the spot. that might be a state murder charge. but the crazy thing is nobody has been charged for the murder yet. i could understand trife's frustration.

I think they might have a hard time getting a murder conviction. All three of then handled the gun at some point so it would be hard to convict him without a reasonable doubt.

Be safe tho.....

Na they got him to cop to enough time. They prob dont care about the body.
25 yrs would run concurrent or whatever anyway.

it ain't at all.

but it is cuz

he was given an opportunity that many would KILL for

SPECIALLY with his background?

and not in some jealous of an athlete opportunity...

I mean a one in a million shot that MANY who were MORE qualified and deserving will probably NEVER get.

So I think its a WASTE that he was just reaching that point where he was gonna POP...

and he just couldn't give up the life.

OK he basically going out EXACTLY as he lived his life...but to me it still is sad to see a Black man given a SECOND chance like this in the entertainment industry

a platform to connect with thousands ans he squandered it for what?

beef with Troy?

To prove he still street?

And the saddest part he damn near TALKED all this sh*t into fruition on the podcast.

I really wonder what was going on through his head that night. Whether he wanted to be or not he was a inspiration for a lot of dudes who don't think they can do shit out here. He represented a lot of people. And he threw it all away for nothing. And now he has the rest of his life to think about it. That sucks.

And this Taxstone/Troy Ave beef is one of the dumbest things ever.

It ain't a waste because this podcast shit was a mirage, a phase.
you had higher hopes for him than he did himself
that's the easiest way to get disappointed

That's the thing it wasn't a beef he didn't like Troy and pushed Troy to make a diss record. Kept pushing until Troy was pushed into a corner. He said he was a former bully and got shot because of it. Now he's going to go 30 years because he still wanted to be a bully
