GS played some bad defense no doubt, but it's hard to get in a flow defensively when the refs are on that bullshit and if you run and trip over the other players shadow its a fucking foul...

tonight they didn't play fast. after playing fast all game 3 they walked the ball up the court stood there with wack sets and then had to rush to get a shot and they did this the entire 2nd half didn't push the pace at all man that's bad play.
but the problem tonight was 100% defense. there's just no excuse to give up 137 points. you cannot do it unless you are not dialed in period. the cavs had more wide open shots tonight than they did the entire series and contesting makes all the difference in the world

they could have overcome that. they got the lead down to 13 points 3 different times in the 3rd and 4th quarter with plenty of time left
they just did not get any stops on simple offense. none. offensively they were fine. they weren't fluid but they put up 113 and everybody just played decent.

They don't need to blitz they just need to push the pace. That's really all there is to it. Not fast breaks. just push the pace run the early offense then run the regular offense. when they run the offense as it's intended they get a good shot period. it might not go in but it is a good shot and if you get enough good shots they'll go in eventually.
