i still listen to tariq but not as much anymore. when he said people shouldn't vote, especially for hillary and gave some flimsy ass excuses for it like "well it's not gonna get any worse under trump than it is other obama"...that's when he lost some of his credibility for me. still waiting on mrnogood to come back

This is a good example of why folks should follow then points of people and not the people themselves, for one like the others Tariq makes some good points, but then there are things that I don't agree with him, thats ok, its called being a human, this does not mean I like or dislike him at all... Same can be said about the rest, I take the gems they drop and use it for my growth, all the other crap I filter out..

Great question. Because when Barack was POTUS you had knigroes saying "don't ask him for anything" and "he can't be made to look like he is helping us". 1.) I wanted him to push for reparations for the descendants of chattel slavery and victims of Jim Crow violence
2.) I wanted him sign executive orders to enforce and protect voter's rights
3.) I wanted him to improve relations with diaspora countries
4.) I wanted him to fight harder for public education so it is funded properly
5.) I wanted him to do a modern day plan similar to FDR's New Deal
