BLADE RUNNER 2049(2017)

Dog I haven't seen it

I'm not as old as y'all are.

Ima check it out now tho

I've always seen the movie poster but never seen the whole movie

It's not like I saw it or Terminator or ET or Robocop or something like that in the theater when they first came out. I'm not that old either! Some stuff you hear about so much that you just gotta check it. See what all the noise is about.

Anyway, when you see it makes sure to watch the Directors Cut Edition.

Man BGOL is always full of surprises did not know it was this many Blade Runner fans here. I had said to myself if there are any two flix I would not miss for nothing in 2017 it would be this one and Alien: Covenant both by Ridley. :DI first saw Blade Runner on TV in high school and later bought it on VHS in college, I became a lifetime fan after that I could not get over the artistry of this film, brilliance.

:dunno::dunno: Not sure about this one..

Oh me, oh me oh my!!!!! Who is this bitch

IMO those movies come nowhere near the cult classics (ex. BR, original Alien, Predator, SW)...The STORIES in those flicks kept you on edge & guessing. Movies today rely too much on CGI.

But the more I think about it a lot epic flicks have come out in the last decade or so. (ex Interstellar, Inception, Children of Men, Matrix, etc). So I was wrong.

i personally liked aliens over alien.. winter soldier was a spy movie that juss happened to have superheroes in it... raid redemption was a fucking karate guantlet flick with modern day weapons, edge of tomorrow groundhogs day mix with alien invasion mixed with and end of the world scenario.. all those movies got re-watch value.. truth be told interstellar wasn't as great as many people make it out to be it was 1 of those oh yeah interesting, but if u saw it once cool and u prob not gonna watch it again, inception was cool but i'd still rather watch all 3 of the flicks i posted above b4 that..hell matrix was actually the only flick i agree with as far as epic.. winter soldier is the best marvel movie that came out(didn't see dr strange yet)

Only reason i'll give it a chance is because Ridley got something to do with it.
Still, this sequel shit is getting outta hand. No one creates epic shit anymore.
Brother I agree with you on one hand. But the Blade Runner sequel has been long overdue. I'm so surprised that it's taken this long. This is still one of my favorite movies from the 80's along with " To Live and Die in LA" and "King of New York" I can't fucking wait!

Watched the final cut a few wks ago on da big screen. Was a bit surprised how wonderful the visuals still were. Undoubtedly one of the best looking films ive seen.

Still wanna check out the directors cut & the workprint version of the original. Several nods to the original in the trailer - especially audio-wise - that was cool. ill definitely check this out.

idk about this. visually it looks beautiful but how does this connect to the original? and will the story be strong enough to be good. i know the star power of ryan gosling will help with sales as well as the lovers (i.e. me) of the og to come out opening night.

Did they cast everyone from the marvel and D.C. Universe in this film? I need to see some fresh faces.

Ridley Scott be hitting some homeruns !!!!

:smh::smh::smh: ...Reading the synopsis on the first post in this thread might open ur eyes a little without spoiling the movie, instead just skimming thru the post and asking questions I think !!!

 Atari still a thing in 2049.. i bet some other new companies said it's cool if you use our logos in this, and they end up getting"The Blade Runner Curse"..might see Microsoft,Red Bull,Sony, etc

could probably be because Rutger Huaer ad-libbed the majority of his lines..
i just seen a interview where he said he kept 2 lines and deleted everything else lol. he did say in was bs but it fit lol
