All it is is circular
Chuck does something
Jimmy does something
Jimmy does something
Chuck does something
Hopefully this time Jimmy removes himself from Chuck so he can continue on his path to being a shitty person all by himself
And chuck can die alone and we don't have to see him anymore

At this point Mikes story is carrying the show imo

3 seasons in now... Told you Chuck was the real POS. No longer remotely debatable.

Wish the twins could have been sent in back in season 1 or 2 to off Chuck in gruesome fashion for no reason.

Just a quick, explosive visit. Put him out of his misery.

Totally disagree. At its core its a story about a slacker little brother trying to turn his life around by convincing his older brother that he has changed in efforts to finally earn his respect. At every turn that brother feels threatened by his redemption and attempts to undermine it while asserting his moral and intellectual superiority over his little brother.

Jimmy has his flaws but has a code that he has yet to go against. Loyalty to friends and family.
Chuck presents himself as a moralizing by the book principled and honest professional. He has gone against that constantly.

Then what is Jimmy?
A loving brother.

couldnt have said it better myself
from what we saw when Chuck bailed Jimmy out the last time, jimmy was trying everything he could do to turn his life around
he worked in the mailroom, got a law degree and was practicing (although on shady side, he was a good lawyer that did right by his clients)

but at every turn chuck undercuts him

Jimmy was never gonna be chuck but i wonder in an alternate universe if Chuck gave him his support what kinda of person/lawyer he would have become?
Chuck has basically setup a self fulfilling prophecy.

i hope the show ends with chuck alone in a hospital room losing his shit alone. cause he is the biggest piece of shit on the show that treats everyone like shit & pushes everyone he cares for away

Jimmy is who you want advocating on your behalf. He genuinely cares about people and is very selfless to his friends and family. Chuck seem to have always been jealous of this trait that he doesn't possess.

I disagree with Chuck's angle in all of this.

Again I disagree with Chuck's angle because I been where Chuck has been. Not in actions but in feelings toward a sibling who ain't shit and always sets you up to do good and eventually does bad.
I know how frustrating a lifetime of that shit is. So I just see it different

don't ever think I'm defending Chuck.
I'm not.
he is a jealous piece of shit.
I can just see how he got that way.

Right.. but the reality is whatever he thinks Jimmy did as a child isnt the true catalyst.. Its sheer envy and insecurity. Remember, he wasnt expressing those objections until he discovered Jimmys scholastic success. He was perfectly fine being the forgiving and protective big brother until he felt threatened by Jimmys ability to become his professional peer. Also, even if Jimmy did screw their dad.. this happened when they were pre teens and teens. A 50 year old still using that as justification to despise his now 40 year old brother and caretaker is some despicable shit. I understand you empathize with certain aspects of the dynamic.. im just saying, its not analogous to what you've experienced. Chuck is a scumbag.

chuck always shitted on jimmy. Instead of being proud of jimmy passing the bar. And becoming an lawyer. He was condesending and embraassed of jimmy.

You get it.

Man Walter and the other idiot fucked it all up.

Jimmy didn't even have to leave and become some lame ass manager

Gus is that dude.

I would blame walter 100%. Gus had a smooth operation. And walters ego fucked it all the way up. Jamie fucked up to. But he actually progressed. But through walters manipulation. He would continue to make bad decisions.

This episode dragged. the payoff wasnt enough to string it out for the entire episode. Good to see Huell back though.

Man fuck chuck bitchass, fam before law.

Hamlin cares about his firm only, he can do without chuck.

Happy to see big man, I new he slipped him something.

Now it's record that he's fuckin makin shit up.

Na, had to be this way. I think most want to only see the crime and drug side. But you gotta see all sides.

Man I don't like cac bitches, but Kim's attractiveness is she's a pro and down ass chic.

If Kim was black who would play her? Or who would you pick

interesting cause i fucking loved it
the last 2 & 1/2 seasons have been building to this inevitable confrontation between Chuck & Jimmy.
it was well executed, well earned and well done

Not for an entire episode though.

Well last week was mostly about the drugs. Call Saul not Gus or mike

thats the interesting thing about this this show
as a prequel its really 2 separate distinct shows that only sometimes overlap

we have the Mike half: his rise up the criminal ranks, Gus business & the Cartel
then we have the Jimmy story which is about a lawyer and his family drama

i enjoy both the same way I love both my kids...they are different but i love the same
