Headed to Las Vegas next Sunday where should i go? see? eat?

Hmmm....At the point in my life, having been there like 20 times already and going back in June, i don't understand the whole appeal of Vegas. I just go there to get away from NY since I'm not set for an international trip right now. If you insist, i'll give you some ideas. Depending on where you're staying, you can eat at the hotels buffet. I usually stay at the Aria. The buffet is not all that but its passable. Everything will cost you money, so be ready to pay. Tip the girls at the casino or you'll never get a drink again.
The highlight of my trip to LV is Krispy Kreme lol. We always stop at the Excalibur. Upstairs, theres a Krispy Kreme. Go to the Stratosphere (i was scared as shit). They have go carts a little after the "i love vegas" sign. Don't wait your time going to the zoo or the aquarium at the hotels (waste of money). Instead go outside. Go to Red Rock park. Hoover Dam (about an hour outside of Las Vegas), i'd say Grand Canyon, but trust me, its far....If you like speeding, then go. Eh...If you're there for the prostitutes, then this is a good time to find them. Its getting warmer..

If it's your first time there, just walk the fucking strip. Go in as many casinos as you can tolerate. There's buffets in all those joints. They're all the same to me. I usually eat at the one in the Mirage. Then try to hit up old Vegas on Fremont Street as well. That's more than enough for a first time visit.

Silly question, but how much is going on on the strip? I know there are casinos and shows from various forms of entertainment, but how much entertainment are we talking? If you popped up in Vegas randomly, how many shows would be going on ON THE STRIP on average? 5? 10? 20? More?

One of the few places in the states I haven't been. Just haven't made it a priority for whatever reason.

Yea this is a must for reason I don't know...

Buffet wise before my first trip, while watch the travel channel they had a count down to top buffets in America. The world famous buffet in the Rio was number 1. So that was on my to do list. We was walking the strip then decided it was eating time(I stated on plane we was going they at some point). So walk there that shit didn't look that far from the strip but it was a hike. Got there the line was average, got to the cashier, she asked how many my lady said 2, she said sixty sumthjng I was like what the fuck....(I'm used to Golden Corral) paid it and enjoyed the hell outta that shit. Don't know if it's worth it compared to the other spots because I only been there and to Treasure Island's buffet twice.

I don't know about 20...Probably about 10. Chris Angel, some bullshit Michael Jackson show, the blue men, Cirque de Soleil....I forgot the other ones. Honestly, walking on the strip is not that fun on your second time. I don't even walk the strip anymore. I guess the other thing people care about is the Bellagio fountain. Also, there's a lot of Asian prostitution going on right on the strip when it gets warmer. Don't be surprised if you get a flyer with chicks and prices lol.

That's how it is at the Mirage Buffet. It cost like $33 a person. The selection is a little bit more vast than Golden Corral though. But it's not like the food is that much better. Just more of a selection.

Thats all casino buffete even atlantic city. Was $60 for two

I was in Vegas last month for a week. I stayed at the Rio because the rooms are suites, i.e. "huge", and I don't gamble. The best buffet I've been to in my recent visits (last year) was the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar's Palace. A little pricey, but well worth it.

If you have time, rent a car and go to Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, or even the western rim of the Grand Canyon. I went to the Grand Canyon this last trip and I was amazed by the size of it.

You can also do the hotel hop. Each hotel on the Strip has its own theme and that will fill your day.

Since I don't gamble so I just walked through the casinos watching grown men and women act like little kids when they won or lost. Stopped a few bars, watched some games in the Sport Books.

If its a party and night life you're looking for, you won't have any problem finding your crowd.

All of this.. and if you have time, take the 30-40 min drive out to Hoover Dam for some scenery

They have indoor skydiving near the Wynn. You also can check downtown and Circus Curcus has an amusement park inside the hotel. The strip is 24 hours for the most part. If this is your first time you may get blown away. Also check out Hoover Dam.

The Gumbo at Palace Station
$ 40.oo a bowl

If you go out clubbing and shit like that go to the pool parties during the day. Most hotel'shave pools but some have a different pool that is like a club so those have daytime pool parities and the right ones be banging...meet chicks there find out what's popping that night. You got your first in and catch up with the ones who going to the club you leaning to go to and handle your handle...

A spot called WET which is a daytime pool party at MGM Grand hotel...usually always bumping and the other one that Bumps is a spot called the Marque at The Cosmopolitan hotel. This is another pool party that be bumping.... All the hot ones act funny with they dress code. They be like no Jordans, no wife beaters (mainly no white ones) and most places you need actual swimming trunks not basketball shorts. Go around ask and get a few the promoters to hook you up for clubs and pool parties. Everything cost and it's not cheap at all....

If you are into sushi go to Kabuto, off the strip, I think Chinatown area. It's far and away the best sushi in town, and a world class spot. Omokase, no bullshit rolls, just excellent fish. Nobu is for wasting tourists money, overrated. Kabuto could be top 10 in the country. Very simple edomae style, incredible. $100-$200 per person, probably. Reservations a must.

The nation's highest rated thai food spot is Lotus of Siam, off the strip. Crazy good thai food. Crispy garlic shrimp are insane. Reservations during rush hours a must.

If you just want a burger, Gordon Ramsay Burger, in Planet Hollywood, is extremely good. Great shakes as well. That spot caught me off guard, wasn't expecting it to be so great.

Skip all the hotel buffets. Yuck.

So much to see and do. Went there recently stayed at the Wynn and I don't I'll stay anywhere else if I go back anytime soon. Check out the Penn and Teller show if you're a fan. They do a meet and greet after and will take pictures and sign autographs. The Mob Museum was fun. For all you gamers especially from the 70s you have to hit the National Pinball Museum. Can't speak on Strip Clubs since I haven't been to one in Vegas since 2001 and on my recent trip I had the my ol' Lady along. I cannot stress renting a car enough if you want to maximize your time although you can survive without one. Get some good walking shoes and hit the strip and take in some of live music in some of the lounges burried in the Casinos. If you're a Cameo fan you may want to Check them out but I must warn you That show is only about an hour. Frankly I don't think they have the stamina to go longer.
