Ligs and tendons take longer to deal with the strength of the modern athlete. It takes much, much longer for them to adapt. While they are playing catchup to the muscles and nervous system, they are under a TREMENDOUS amount of strength.
That's why after a layoff you are at risk for injury. Nervous system adapts first, muscles next, tendons and ligs, much, much latter. 'Muscle memory' is what they call it, but the tedons and ligs can have alzheimers. Even these slight-built cats like Teddy much stronger than comparable-sized athletes 30 years ago.
Remember, they put a lot of pressure to get Bridgewater more durable for the NFL? He was very, very small. Most of that effort would be placed on the wheels. I remember the Browns were concerned with his slight build. Now his fucking knee exploded.

If bradford gets injured again or just stinks up the joint...we get a high 1st rd pick and a 4th in 2018
It aint as bad as it appears for the vikings tho...Bradfords decent has his old offensive coordinator on the vikings staff, will be playing for Norv turner...and has AP and a excellent young defense to keep them in games. Im glad i have jerick mckinnon in fantasy...he might put up career numbers with the amount of checkdowns sammys gonna throw to him.
Plus spielmans drafted well the past years but fucks up his 1st rd picks more often than not and they have multiple 2nds and 3rd rders so they could probably deal their way back into the 1st

Yeah..as others have pointed out the Eagles didn't have a 1st rounder at all going into next years draft. Cleveland is rejoicing in the fact that Eagles pick is looking like a top 5 pick right about now.
That injury will take at least a year and a half to clear up before he plays so don't expect him to play at all next year.I wonder if this means Teddy is fucked when he returns next year
