Air Fryers. No oil frying. How many use one?

Bought the air fryer a couple months ago and really like the way it cooks the food. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Mess is very minimal and contained to the fryer basket. My low rating is due to the nonstick coming off the outer basket. Kept scrubbing to a minimum by soaking in soapy water, but finish is still flaking off. I emailed the company end of June and have not received a response. Very disappointed.

man this can't be good right? flaking coating material? how has yours held up so far?

Whelp just finished dinner ...I cant believe this shit works:eek:

It really makes no sense.

I cleaned and seasoned my wings this morning and went about my sunday . got home preheated the fryer and got the flour ready.

every five minutes I turned them over

and here was the final result.

Turned out good it was cooked all the way thru and I still dont believe that this thing works.:smh:

One of the videos posted here dude use a cooking spray I opted to do the same you can see the canola oil spray in the last pic.

I had wings and fries and I doubt that I used more than a teaspoon and a half of oil.

Shit I need one of these, hell might have to get 2-3 since the capacity is so small. I got people to feed on a regular, I would have to reload the little ass machines up three times just for one dinner

Yeah I already see a need for a second one at least, so you can have chicken and fries done at the same time.

"jerk" chicken, brown rice with red beans and corn, Normandy mix veggies, and buttermilk biscuit.

The chicken was juicy, flavorful and just down right good. I am still confused on how this shit cooks that good and why I am just now finding out about this.
Props to everyone that has added to this thread. I am going to make fried wings tomorrow and some fish on Tuesday

Saw this at kohls but it's too small, if you're a single guy cooking for yourself it's fine but not big enough for a family, unless you plan on cooking in batches.

 @ "lip smacking nigga"

Yeah, I like spice ... it just wasn't "jerk". Cool you tried it out though. The chicken doesn't look "fried" so I stand corrected on it all together. I probably would've killed for something like this back in college.

Good shit, props

so much oil is a little oil?
cause i don't want to use ANY.
For almost anything it only requires a table spoon of oil or less. But that is optional also. So you don't have to if you don't want. It has been very helpful for people like me who struggled with weight and eating a healthy diet. The days I am feenin for some fried foods it gives me an option to eat healthy. So I really don't have an excuse now not to do right

If you want a smoky spicy chicken dish and dont feel like cutting rosemary, tyme, tomatoes, and making jerk marinade, this is good. Wife and kids loved it. I guess it is one of those life hack recipes. took like 35 minutes total.

If you want to avoid the chemicals in most of the cooking sprays, you can purchase an oil sprayer or mister so that you can use your favorite oil. Keep in mind that not all oils are suitable for high heat.

yeah i was gonna say this shit would make a killing in the college circuit, military circuit, single man/single female home, latch key child...hell i could see a lot of street vendors using this shit..another product that has 9-10 fig potential of bizzness

OK I was worried about the size from the comments but I see it like THIS..

air or no air?

I shouldn't be frying THAT much food anyway.

Some fried wings & legs and I need to put some couscous, salad, steamed veggies or something like that
