Yeah - it's interesting looking at some of the overseas box office numbers in recent years. Some massive debuts for certain films.

Yes. It was the stuff of legend. Instantaneous classic. Pure fire. All heat. Laughs in abudance. Special effects & CGI on some next level shit.
I don't have a clue. I stay 100% bullshitting like crazy. I miss the original 2 movies from back around 1984 & 1989.
Star Trek Beyond
Much like 1994's Star Trek : Generations Star Trek Beyond focuses on the passing of time, where one belongs in life, and where a person
can make the most difference in life Star Trek Beyond takes the aforementioned and mixes in a wee bit of Star Trek The Undiscovered
Country.
The cast does a spectacular job with their different portrayals of the well known characters that have now been arounf for 50 years.
Almost 3 years into their 5 year mission the crew of the starship Enterprise have grown together and bonded in various ways ,with some tension,
and chafing mixed in.
The character and introduction of Jaylah (Sofia Boutella) is refreshing, welcome and extremely likeable.I really enjoyed her interactions
with the rest of the cast.
Im so glad writers Simon Pegg & Doug Jung didnt make the villain in the film Krall (Idris Elb) a one note character ,though the film takes it's
time to fully flesh him out.
The flaws in the film can be found in a couple of plot holes, and the CGI and SFX look a bit choppy at times .
Other than that this was a highly entertaining and humorous adventure, with small doses of classic Star Trek.

Captain America: Civil War
One of the strongest themes in Comic Book films as of late is that there are consequences for the actions of the hero, sometimes
tragedy is connected to a heroic moment, and that there are casualties whena a hero and villain rumble in a highly populated
city or country.
So what if the government wanted to reign in the hero's because of the aforementioned?
So much praise should be heaped upon the Russo brothers and writers Christopher Marku and Stephen McFeely
Not only providing and developing a sequel to Captain America: Winter Soldier but also an Avengers movie, with a strong story about
friendship,responsibility,loss and revenge
The action sequences are choreographed to a T.There is so much on screen to not only satisfy the fanboys, but also the most casual Marvel fan
If thats's not enough, the film has one of the best big screen introductions to Spider-Man well played by Tom Holland
They also get everything right about Black Planther his strengths as a leader and hero are brought out in the script and strong performance from
Chadwick_Boseman.Im really looking forward to his solo film and the characters that will inhabit it.
All of the actors portraying the characters do a fine job
Some scenes felt a little drawn out and repetitive but the fact that the film has so much on it's plate to take in and that it actually goes down so well and
plays so strongly is a movie miracle

A Bigger Splash
A couples get away from it all restful vacation is completely turned around by the woman's former manager/lover and his seductive daughter.
Ralph Fiennes portrays the former manager Harry who doesnt have an off switch .He's imposing, crass, loud ,and intruding.
His former flame and popular singer Marianne (Tilda Swiinton) semi welcomes his intrusion, while her new lover
Paul (Matthias Schoenaerts) chafes at Harry's personality and Harry's daughter Penelope (Dakota Johnson) frolics around with a
casual smile and seductive glance.
Of course all types of alterior motives arise.
This is a good tale of broken friendships and relationships.Seduction by something new and something familiar.I loved how the film plays with the complications of communication
All well played by each actor. A Bigger splash is at it's best when it focuses on the four main characters,it's a bit drawn out and meanders here and there
but it's still one of the best films of the Summer movie season so far.

Every actor in this film collects an easy paycheck
This is one of the most lightweight films i have ever watched .I didnt connect to any of the characters or even their plights but
the music and visuals were great and i loved staring at the beyond beautiful Emily Ratajkowski.
Just a cool way to kill about 90 minutes
