NBA Offseason 2016 - FreeAgency money dried up...Waiters gets $2.6 after OKC pulled $6+ offer...

Wade is coming back to Miami. All of this is posturing and him wanting attention after largely being ignored last week. Wade's ego is too big to go to another team and not have the green light and spotlight like he has in Miami. He KNOWS it wont be the same.

Riley and Arison know Wade DESPERATELY wants to stay in Miami and have been confident they could get him to crawl back no matter how much they lowballed him or put him on the backburner.

Mickey will give him a hug tonight, tell him he's special and that'll be that. Wade will do a press conference in a few days "This is where I always wanted to be, I wanna retire a Heat yada yada"

Dude Magics entire career he was surrounded by HOFers. No asterisk next to his name tho...

Dude Im a Sixers fan but I swear i hope GS ends up doing Globetrotter shit all season and sweep teams to the chip... And then let Ayesha Curry have words at the parade!

These stupid people are the same ones who will laugh and call Durant a choke artist if he never got a ring. I lowkey almost hope Durant get at least 2 rings. Not even a Warriors fan but I just want him to tell of them to kiss his ass. And I hope he puts up 30 points a night and wins MVP too.

Like Magic didn't play for any superteams or Shaq. If you a NBA champion you played on a Superteam with the exception of a select few.

Your comparisons are WAY off the mark.

Durant was already on a super team. 2 of the top 5 NBA players. A bench that scores, defends and rebounds, a coach that put them in a winning situation... There were no missing pieces here, just a lack of execution by the players.

So Durant leaves a superteam in exchange of... A better superteam. A team so super that they dont even need him to win rings and break records.

You see thats the difference here. Heat dont win those rings without James. Lakers dont win without Shaq. Showtime dont win without Magic. Celtics dont win without Bird...

I dont think anyone here, if we were honest, had any other team then GS as the favorites to win next year BEFORE Durant got there.

So had he went to the Cavs to play with LeBron it would have been cool?

how do u feel about this

I just saw that he was eying GS only.

GS don't need him....just like they didn't need Durant. At this point what SAS said about "bandwagoners" is starting to become true.

Naw that was only the title

He's let only a few teams know he's thinking about returning

Ray will sign with the Warriors for 500K, SF Giants season tickets, and a box of cracker jack in a few days.

I dont mind guys like Ray doing it.

We obviously expect more from superstars like Durant.

Durant just asked himself whats the easiest way for me to win a title... Thats where ill go!

I want all of these stars to just keep doing this shit, and then tell me how much you Bron and Durant apologists like it. Fuck trying to win a ring, why not let all the best players pile up on the same teams as much as its financially feasible, and let the rest of the league become even more irrelevant. Forget competing. Just go for the guaranteed ring, and act like it was such a great accomplishment that you won.

lol.

I had a cousin who used to play checkers on this website back in the day, and he always set the game to easy. I always set the game to the most difficult level possible. Interestingly enough, this cousin is a defender of Lebron and Durant. I rode with Kobe from the day he came into the NBA to the day he left.

Some people actually feel the need to compete, and not just stack the game so they don't have to compete. Get your help, but your black ass knows the difference between help and stacking the deck.

Dont mind it, the other players just have to play smart and put in work...

fuck wasting your career if you don't think the person in charge of putting you in position to do so isn't doing their job.
duncan stayed with the spurs because they made sure they always had some great fucking talent around him every single year he's been in the nba. as soon as robinson and them was gone he got parker and ginobli.
if he was middle of the road wasting away his goat pf type career he'd left too.

Not sure how you figured that from my post.

The answer is no, by the way.

Didn't get anything from your post... I asked a question, didn't make a statement.

So, based on your point and some other posts you've made... Here is what I get and tell me if I'm off balance:

1) It's only acceptable for a player to go to a good/great team at the end of their careers?
2) Even though there were rumblings about Durant digging GS prior to this season, he should have changed his mind based on how the teams season turned out?
3) A great player should leave his future (in terms of the capacity to win a chip), essentially in the hands of a GM to make the write moves, and put the right team around him?
4) Based on your issues with his decision, what are the teams out there that would have been 'acceptable' for him to go to and why?

Notice, all points have a question mark next to them to Bruh, not making statements, asking questions...

He wasn't put in position, but was 1 game away from making it to the NBA Finals? lololol.

But, hey .... I said nothing about staying in OKC. I'm talking about deck stacking. This pussy ass brand of basketball that these new niggas go for. It is no coincidence that this shit has become popular in a feminized era like we're living in. It will continue. People comparing players over-the-hill teaming up after they gave it their best shot during their prime have given me a headache. But, people will perform whatever mental gymnastics necessary to make peace with the shit.

The alpha is dead. This is the era where Drake is possibly the King Of mainstream Hip Hop. Niggas are wearing pants as tight as their girlfriends, if they have a girlfriend at all.

I get it, king. I'm a relic of the past.

Dude, this whole thing is funny as hell... First of all, just because people like Reggie and Charles have a problem with it, doesn't make it gospel. I've asked already for someone to show me a link or story where any of those Dudes had the option to join one of the dominant teams of their time, and they turned it down. It's easy to talk shit about what you would and wouldn't do, AFTER the fact, when you never had the option and never will... All of them can Kick rocks with that hating ass bullshit.

Also, this he should wait till the end of his carer nonsense is just that, nonsense... So, him and others like him should stay in a situation and wait until the GMs make the right moves and get the right players around them so the team can win a chip!??!?! Nine Years wasn't enough? Oh, so Durant should have sought out a team that is just on the cusp but needs the GMs to make moves to get them over the top, and he should go there and wait?!?!!? People really don't make much sense, and it's funny as hell to me to hear people who have NEVER had to make this type of decision with so much riding on it talk about what they would or wouldn't do....

So he was supposed to go to the sixers to make you feel better?
He ain't in OKC cause Westbrook ain't committing to staying in OKC either. Period. Hortford said Westbrook would not say he was going to reup with OKC
so is durant supposed to WAIT and then potentially see and then if westbrook leaves and he's stuck you guys can sit back and say "he should've joined the warriors/spurs/clippers/ when he had the chance?"

lmao

Why not just sign Barbosa and rush and another forward and big and be done with it..but fucking charlmers?:hmm:

Rush already signed somewhere else, and from what I undersand, Barbosa wanted more bread! Chalmers is cool coming off the bench and is a 2 time champion fam! Good pickup... If they get Ray Allen, even though you think hes bum sauce at this point I think a few Dudes heads are going to explode here!

I still fully expect Jordan dickriders to say the 91 Lakers, 92 Blazers, 93 Suns, 96 Sonics, 97-98 Jazz are "tougher" competition than what Bron is bout to face.

Yea the one TT didn't explode on the 4th, the's one who almost exploded, the ones who recovered

The owner said he wanted another title and he's putting together a nice bench

Man losing Wade would suck for the Heat. The fans go to the games but only if they don't feel like going to South Beach. Is Whiteside that type of star to carry the franchise?
