NBA Offseason 2016 - FreeAgency money dried up...Waiters gets $2.6 after OKC pulled $6+ offer...

Come on man......niggas had them as one of the best teams in the East. It was 4 former all stars in their prime or so we thought. I knew they'd be trash but I know y'all rememeber this cover:

Y'all had high hopes for them let's don't speak in hindsight.

:lol::lol:

possible new thread debate (or podcast topic):

the 10 years the NBA has had a salary cap...

has it helped or HURT the game?

Only good thing is Bogut was talking that "We dont need Durant" shit.. and they shipped his ass to dallas for Durant. :lol:

nigga get the entire fuck outta here...that's why y'all got deron bitch ass now...I had no unrealistic hopes for that team...don't find yourself speaking for me

So when the Nets traded for KG and Pierce you telling me y'all didnt' think ya'll was gonna contend or get into the post season?

Oh we making the playoffs

Gonna make it by default as a7th 0r 8th seed as long as Dirk here.The fuck you trade for BOgut for? Id' rather have Speights or Ezel. Cuban just wants a drinking buddy man fuck him. Parsons was his drinking buddy and how that work out.

your original point was that team was some kinda big 4 comparable to GS now...me thinking that team had a shot @ the playoffs is no big revelation but there was nothing super about that team and that's what we're discussing here...thinking they're gonna make the playoffs does not equal thinking they're super...nice try @ goal shifting tho...no it really wasn't

No i'm not saying they are what the Warriors are but i'm saying Pierce played with 3 other all stars.......some were at the end of their prime so there's no comparison but Pierce talking shit and acting like he hasn't played on any loaded teams. Celtics were loaded when they traded for Ray and KG and that Clippers team was loaded too. You saying the Nets weren't loaded.....I disagree. I thought they had a terrible mix of talent but it was some talent in Brooklyn. When Brooklyn got Deron people considered him a top 5 point guard at that time.

I seriously don't think Russ even cares. He wants to be the man.

I don't think he cares because he's dipping anyway. :lol: It may be fucked up to say about him but I just don't think he cares about winning like that. Not that he doesn't want to win. I just think he has other things that hold priority of winning.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will not match the offer sheet restricted free agent guard Matthew Dellavedova agreed to accept from the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources informed cleveland.com. Dellavedova, 25, is expected to sign his four-year, $38.5 million deal shortly after July 7, the first day free agents can sign their contracts. The Cavaliers would have three days to match the offer sheet to retain the services of their backup point guard, but cleveland.com was told that wouldn’t be the case.

We actually had a better record the year prior. Shit was a push by the Owner but most Nets fans thought we traded to much for over the hill players in KG, Pierce and Terry. If Joe Johnson showed up in game 7 of the season prior, that trade probably doesn't happen
