Soccer: Copa America Centenario Final Match (Who U Got?)

I wonder why they sat out their stars - Ospina, James etc.
On the other hand, am I the only one who's being put to sleep by these [American] English Commentators? I am watching this Costa Rica vs. Colombia match
on a Spanish Channel and they sound a lot more fun with the ongoing game than as earlier on an English Channel.
They sound so boring and at times seem not to know what they are talking about.

That's cause they don't ..

Is this the beginning of the end of Brazil's dominance of World Football?
I know, it could be very premature asking but I am asking anyway.

See what am talking about?
This indecision at this day and age in FOOTBALL:smh::angry::smh:. Instant replays should be allowed. Its about time. This is embarrassing!

I don't know about all that, but there are obviously issues with their program right now.

As much as I love to hate Brazil like Duke, I also love to watch them. This fucking ass mediocre Copa America wouldn't be fun without them, and while I don't like the way they went out, they did deserve to lose. Squandering the few chances, very few players taking a chance and no sense of urgency especially Willian. Fuck it, they're gone, racist ass Argentina is now on deck.

Brazil suffer shock defeat to Peru, eliminated from the Copa America

Brazil were controversially eliminated from the Copa America after suffering a 1-0 Group B defeat to Peru in Foxborough.

Raul Ruidiaz scored the winning goal 15 minutes from time but appeared to turn the ball into the net with his hand and Brazil protests were waved away by referee Andres Cunha after a two-minute discussion with his linesman.

Peru's win saw them top the group to set up a quarterfinal meeting with Colombia, while Brazil will go home after only finishing third in the group.

Philippe Coutinho and Willian stretched the Peru defence in the early stages with a series of neat touches and probing runs as Brazil started strongly.

Filipe Luis forced Pedro Gallese into an early save before the goalkeeper made a magnificent stop to turn away Gabriel's low drive.

Cunha then waved away a strong Brazilian appeal for a penalty when Christian Ramos clashed with Lucas Lima in the 23rd minute.

And at the other end he denied Peru's claims for a penalty of their own when Edison Flores went down under a challenge from Renato Augusto.

Man-of-the-match Gallese had to be on his toes again just before the break to turn away another effort from Gabriel.

Peru came more into the game after the interval and Alisson made a smart stop to turn away Christian Cueva's free kick following a foul by Joao Miranda on Victor Yotun.

Coutinho continued to be a thorn in the side of Peru and saw one shot blocked before another attempt was well saved by Gallese.

But then came the killer blow for Peru, who were growing in confidence, in the 75th minute.

Andy Polo broke down the right wing and sent over a cross into Ruidiaz, who turned the ball into the net and TV replays appeared to show him using his hand to push the ball past Alisson.

Brazil remonstrated furiously with the official but after two minutes deliberation with his assistant referee he allowed the goal to stand.

It was a hammer blow to Brazil and despite six minutes of time added on they failed to seriously trouble Gallese again and Peru held on for their first victory over Brazil at the Copa America since 1975.

oh shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

how don't they have replay on this shit in 2016
lol
kinda of fucking dumb ass sport is this
Do they have replays for balls and strikes in MLB?
Do they have replays for fouls in baseball?

The genius of this game is its simplicity, and this
is why it is so popular. FIFA should not implement
rules that introduce unfairness in the game.

If you introduce instant replay, then the poor who
cannot afford it become disadvantaged...

No game is perfect. Yes the bitch handled the ball.
Brazil can cry now, but I do remember when in a
World Cup, Brazilian no 9, Luis Fabiano, handled
the ball in the box, and then hammered it in for
a goal, in a game against Ivory Coast, that was tight..

Brazil has bigger problems than the bad referring.
They were outhustled by the hungrier Peru, and
even after Peru scored there was no sense of urgency
from them.

Brazil cannot pretend to be a power anymore. They
no longer have players or coaches that can be counted
in the top levels of football. Their lone exception is
Neymar.

They need to fix whatever their internal problem is.

So are they going to fire Dunga again after this fiasco?

Dunga absolutely needs to be fired. It the world, Brazilians of great talent are everywhere and this squad looks very, very average. Since Bgol has been slow for me lately, I haven't posted but Peru wanted it more. Was the goal bullshit, Yes. But Brazil didn't come to play and Dunga must be fired and Brazil must find it's identity again.

Never let it come down to the ref. You have 90 mins to score goals. Finish your chances and take any doubt off the table. Smh

As I was watching the game, something felt off. There's no Ginga from this or any recent Brazilian sides. No spirit or essence of Brazilian football that we've grown to know and adore. These Dunga sides are laden with tactics and structure which is ok if you're anybody else, but the soul has been sucked out of Brazilian football.

Brazil were always the team that brought the streets to the stage and now they've let the finance and modern era destroy that, but it's their own doing.

I called it in Rio two years ago alongside most Brazilians.. Dunga should've been fired after that devastating German knockout.

SOrry to break the news to you but Dunga wasn't the manager at the world cup,,, I still want him out though, not one player as improved under him...

You're right my mistake. It was Scolaris nonsense that came about that time around, but Dunga is also as tactical and rigged in form as he was. For me, it's one in the same.

Many on Twitter are making the case that Dunga didn't have his heavy hitters out there.

Diego Tardelli, Luiz Adriano, Roberto Firmino, Robinho, Hulk... None of this guys couldn't lead the line for Brazil ?

Isn't the reason they rehired him that they have run out of
options. I never liked Dunga the first time, and I did not like
him this time. Then there is the question of the quality of
Brazilain players. There are what, 1100 of them in foreign
leagues?"?? Other than Neymar, who else among them is a
superstar?

Brazil needs to go back to the way it used to train footballers
before. I do not care if you bring Rembrandt Van Ryn; you
cannot paint a masterpiece if your paints and materials are
the current crop of Brazilians.

On what great team in the world is a Brazilian the superstar
other than...err Barcelona??????

These are not the days of Romario, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and
Ronaldo
