Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

There Was a Secret Book Character Hidden in Last Week's Game of Thrones

You remember these three jerks from last episode? Of course you do. They managed to disrupt Sandor Clegane’s fragile respite by massacring Brother Ray and his entire congregation, causing an infuriated Hound to pick up his axe with the intention of splitting more than just firewood. The yellow-cloaked gent in the center was played by actor Jóhannes Haukur, who turns out to have been playing a character whose name book readers will certainly recognize:
Lem Lemoncloak. A member of the Brotherhood Without Banners...

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare / 10 Jun 2016
Kit Harington to Star as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Villain
Share.
Kit Harington's new watch begins.

By Jonathon Dornbush Activision has announced that Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington will appear in Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

But rather than being a friendly face during the fight, Harington will star as "the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front," according to narrative director Taylor Kurosaki.

To aid in bringing Harington's villainous role to life, director Guy Ritchie, who previously helmed a live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was brought in to assist on production during Harington's filming. Activision has also released a sneak peek at Harington's mo-cap work.

A video surfaced earlier this week of the actor being rolled into a motion-capture rig, however his new role was not officially announced at the time.

"It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We're excited about the performance Kit delivered and can't wait to get it out to the public," Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl said in a statement accompanying the announcement.

So what are these men without banners? Don't stop the conversation. This is how I learn.
Assist.

Ned Stark started the Brotherhood Without Banners.... completely by accident.

In season 1, remember Catelyn Stark went to Kings Landing to tell Ned what she suspected about the Lannisters.

She (rightfully) suspected that one of the Lannisters (Cersie) pushed Bran out the window in Winterfell & crippled him..... before they sent an Assassin to ‘finish the job’ on him.

But the Assassin was killed by Bran’s Direwolf (Summer) as he d
ropped his knife, which Littlefinger later identified as belonging to Tyrion Lannister.

Later on, when King Robert Baratheon went on his wild board hunt (that eventually killed him)…. Ned Stark was sitting on the Iron Throne during his absence….. and some villagers came to complain about The Mountain, Ser Gregor Clegane… who burned their village & raped their wives…

However, The Mountain (i.e. House Clegane) is the Bannerman of House Lannister.

Therefore, when Littlefinger mentions that he is Tywin's Bannerman.... Ned immediately suspected that Tywin Lannister 'gave the order' & sent the Mountain to pillage Ned’s wife’s homeland (the Riverlands).

So Ned Stark sent Lord Berric Dondarrion to arrest and execute the Mountain & also summoned Tywin Lannister to Kings Landing to answer for his 'crimes of treason'.

Because Tywin actually DID send the Mountain to burn down the small villages in the Riverlands in direct response to Catelyn Stark capturing Tyrion & taking him to the Vale for a trial, when she suspected that the Lannisters had tried to kill Bran 2x twice.

In season 2, the role of Berric Dondarrion was re-cast with a new actor, who wears an eyepatch & has a 'flaming sword':

After failing to catch & kill the Mountain in the Riverlands... Berric & Thoros of Myr formed The Brotherhood Without Banners around the time when the Lannisters started fighting battles against Robb Stark’s Army in the Riverlands.... after Ned was killed in Kings Landing.

The Brotherhood Without Banners is pretty much a ‘militia group’ working against Lannister interests in the Riverlands.

Their original goal was to protect the smallfolk from any forces preying on them.... regardless of which King or Lord they support.

Since we haven’t seen much of them since Season 3…. not sure what their 'current goals' are now, in Season 6.
  • The war with the Starks is over.
  • King Robert is dead.
  • Robb Stark is dead.
  • Ned Stark is dead.
  • Tywin Lannister is dead.
  • Joffrey Baratheon is dead.
  • The Mountain died. (But the Brotherhood may not know that he came back as Robert Strong)
  • Not sure if Berric or Thoros is still alive. :dunno:
  • Or even still 'running the show'. :dunno:
So they basically no longer have a 'purpose' to continue on. :smh:

And it seems they have added some new members since then, who may have comepletely turned the organization into a band of 'renegade outlaws', who NOW prey on the small folk......... instead of protecting them. :smh:

On another forum they stated mama Robb was the leader of the men without banners?

Then that's who everyone was just talking about in this thread.

There's a major character in the books who the 'book readers' are waiting on to make an appearance on the tv show.... Because she may be hanging around the Riverlands.

Also because there are a few characters tied to the Stark storyline who are all coming back after being MIA for many seasons.

Saeeda can also be hired as an escort for trips abroad and offers “webcam services”.

She appeared in the first two series of Game of Thrones in 2011 and 2012 as courtesan Armeca and was in a controversial lesbian sex scene with fellow Brit Esme Bianco, 34.

The Sun on Sunday’s reporter was invited to Saeeda’s home in Strood, Kent.

She led him to a dimly-lit room where she offered a massage and sex act for £65 or full sex for £900.

She said: “You need to book for full sex.

“It costs £900 for an hour.

“I charge £900 because it keeps away the riff-raff.

“People save up for it.

“Other girls charge a lot less but they have to work a lot harder.

I don’t want to be seeing six or seven guys a day.

“Plus I work from home and you’ve got to be discreet about certain things.”
