Man we talked about this many of times...it was more of a position trade...
If Lebron was willing to play the four then wiggins would still be there, and they probably would've got bounced during the second rd last year.
I don't know if he does or not but he sure as hell should re-think it. He went after Love to win now and he aint' win shit. Should've just waited and built with Kyrie and Wiggins or hell should've atleast waited to trade Wiggins for some more viable options coming out. He settled for Love.
Wiggins could play the 2. That shit wouldn't have been a problem at ALL. If they can watch JR Smith jack up shots at the 2 I see no reason why Wiggins couldn't.
Truth be told they could've gamble and waited and got Love this past offseason.
Could've had Wiggins then signed Love the next off season.

Tried to tell these cats this shit man.....Warriors been tested to this point. Even against the damn Blazers. Cavs cakewalked into this shit and the level of competition ain't been in the same. The East failed the Cavs.

Lebron wanted Love because he feel in love with the idea of a Stretch 4 to spread the D. Love combined with JR, Kyrie, Shump and that CAC, he felt that he had the total package on offense. The problem is Lebron is the only player who can create offense for the rest of the team. Kyrie only knows how to get shots for Kyrie. The rest of their players are dependent upon someone else getting them the ball in scoring opportunities. And that someone else is Lebron.

I'm not trying to argue whether or not it was better to keep Wiggins, but can we put that video into context. Thats one play. Harden played well against the Wolves. Its not like Wiggins shut him down all season. Its one play....and this is coming from me, someone who hates Hardens game.
The context is Wiggins is an exceptional defensive player that the cavs need
Put him next to Lebron and he becomes even better and there defense becomes better. Length, speed , and athleticism. They would also be better in transition with wiggins.

Don't you realize that if they didn't trade Wiggins they would have him on a rookie contract PLUS 20M dollars per year in cap space to sign more talent? There isn't even a question that they would be better without that trade.

This is the thing though. It wasn't just a one for one trade because of the contract. Wiggins was on a rookie contract. Love is getting max deal money. The Cavs would have both Wiggins plus 20 million more to sign players. For instance, their bench wouldn't be mush right now getting ran off the floor by the Warriors.

I kept telling these muthafuckas. Man you would have had Wiggins and Lebron defending the perimeter like a mini Wade and Lebron duo. Plus Wiggins can score. Now they would have another defender and he would balance out Love's scoring but they would have 20M to sign more talent. You can do a lot with 20M. It's a completely different squad with Wiggins and another similar player that can score and defend. And then you still have 10M left so sign a shooter.
They didn't even need to wait and gamble on Love. He's not worth Max fucking money man.. damn.. any team that spent max money on Love was fucked from the jump... you're still plotting the wait and get him later scenario.. no fucking team is winning titles with love and irving starting.
