I feel what you are saying but are GS role players really role players; feel what Im saying?? Iggy is an MVP of finals; Livingston probably could start for what like 20 other teams; I think GS role players will be fine on the road; Im looking to see what adjustments Cavs make because they cant play that game plan again...

Oh. I'm not talking about Iggy... I'm talking about livingston (that was his career playoff high)Barnes, etc.. they'll come back down to earth on the road.. that's almost always how it goes..

No they didnt; watch the game again; hell turn on nba tv right now; them ninjas were getting wide open shots; thats not amazing; NBA players will make open shots unless its TT...

Fuck TT. There were some shots that weren't contested, but they sure as shit were draining the contested ones.

3 of them cats were 18 for 24. It's not about catching fire from 3. You acting like it was a layup drill to hit like 80 percent from the field. And some of those shots came at the perfect fucking time. Meanwhile, Kyrie is a really good shooter and was missing some comparable looks.

Yeah. that's why home court advantage is important.. those role players miss shots on the road... those weren't super hard shots, but they weren't layups either...

Ive already stated GS in 6; Ive never said the Cavs wont win games; but if their defense doesnt get better and their game plan doesnt change, it will be a very short series..

All year long you've said Steph is the games best player. Do you still feel that way? Can you tell me of an instance where LeBron, Jordan, Shaq, Wilt, Kareem, Kobe, Magic, etc were outscored and outplayed by their backup in a Finals?

I hope they do. That shooting percentage from them was crazy.

Kinda feel bad for LeBron. He's going to be in the NBA finals in the foreseeable future and not win if the eastern conference doesn't get more compatible. He's win loss record is going to continue to get uglier.

If he loses this year, he'll never really be able to get that finals' winning percentage out of the hole.. he would need to win 5 straight just to get to .500

I think this game actually proves why Lebron is the real "MVP"... like in the way he answered the journalist. It's not a knock on Curry as much as illustrating that Curry clearly has the better team around him. He can score 10 points in the NBA finals and his team still blow the opponent out. Lebron isn't scoring 10 points and winning by damn near 20 in the Finals..

I hope the Warriors' fans don't get sensitive because I'm really saying the Warriors have a great TEAM.

I posted this in another thread. If he wins a title this year or next he would be on pace with MJ who didnt win his 4th title until 33, Bron is 31. A loss this year he'd need 3 more rings to break .500.

Wilt and Kareem never lol lol; Steph is the best offensive player in the league and its not close; he had an off night and basically played within the game plan that GS had for this game; One game doesnt define a player; But Ive never seen steph choke in the finals like LBJ did against dallas; But does that define LBJ career; does that make LBJ less great????

The problem is that he just doesn't have that type of squad team chemistry around him to run off a string of titles.. unless he leaves Cleveland.. you used Bulls as the example but they kind went on a historic run...I just don't think that can happen w/ Lebron in this organization...

if he wins this year, he can at least make the winning percentage decent

but if the lose again this year and don't win a title but once over the next 5 years, I bet Lebron would be happy with just delivering ONE title to Cleveland..and I think just delivering one to that sorry ass organization seals his legacy anyway.

What LBJ said was bullshit; MVP is subjective and has many different aspects to it...

Cmon fam. Bron averaged 17 a game against Dallas that year. Steph had 11 tonight. :smh: And youve seen Steph miss the playoffs 4 years in a row and choke to the Clippers in the first round 2 years ago. Brons never lost in the first round. Steph is the best shooter in the game but a case can be made he hasnt been the best offensive player this playoffs.

When I said that shit, people went in on me. Even though the team is 4-14 without Lebron and probably would be in a desperate battle for the 8th seed. When this team didn't miss a beat with KT leading the show, it showed something Lebron never really had.

Yes he did but he was scared to shoot; or should I say he didnt want to shoot; We talking finals not any other round; And yes Klay to me has played better than Steph this playoffs; That doesnt take away from Steph; Plus steph was hurt; but the mvp was awarded for season not playoffs; So LBJ has demonstrated weak moments in the playoffs just like every other player has; LBJ is no different and that doesnt take away from him as a great...

Yeah. Curry has the luxury of being shielded. He can often relax on defense and that team has so much offensive balance, that he can afford to have nights like this in the Finals... he often performs, but it's just the reality that he is on a squad where he can score 11 points and still win by double digits in the Finals. If Lebron scores 10 points in any game in this finals, it's an automatic loss for the Cavs.

No because his intent or atleast the way I took it was of him dissing Steph; So for example who on the Cavs does LBJ make better???? but isnt that an aspect of MVP??

I think Warriors' fan and people that don't like Lebron took it that way. He wasn't dissing Steph..as a matter of fact, Lebron has always been overly gracious to Steph...even when Steph was in college he was giving him props. Even during this season there were times where Lebron was openly praising him.. actually cheering him on as a fan of the game. I don't think it was a diss. he had a valid point in how value is defined....I don't have a problem with the statement and I do think that Steph deserved it because of the season he had and the season his team had... I think the unanimous shit was a bit much though

I'm out.. this is the stat of the night

"The Warriors' bench outscored the Cavs' bench by 35 Pts, the largest bench scoring differential in the last 50 yrs."

Problem with what he said was he didnt say that shit when KD won; or when D Rose won; or Dirk or Nash; nah, that shit had some slight to it..

Lebron just does so much. Look at all the different teams he led to the finals. The finals follow him. That's insane on so many levels. He knows they aren't out of it now. You have to take the bench going off just like you take Curry and KT draining 30 foot shots. Move the fuck on.

If GS wins, it should be interesting to see who the MVP is.

I think at minimum, the Cavs have to win 2 out of the next 3. and I think it needs to be the next 2.

Bron in 2011 Finals
17.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 6.7 apg

Not up to his par as a performer and considered the biggest choke in NBA Finals history since his team lost.

The 2014 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard....
17.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.0 apg

The 2015 Finals MVP Iggy...
16.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.0 apg

Guarantee if Draymond posts 17.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 6.7 apg and gets a triple double in one of the games he will be your 2016 Finals MVP.

Its levels to this shit, and Bron playing at his worst is still better than alot of guys best.

I predict this wont be a short series. Golden State should and is expected to win, but you tripping if you think the Cavs cant and wont win gameS

Agreed, especially if the defense on Klay and Curry remain this tight. No way can we expect the same level of productivity from the bench every game.

Don't do that man because that's what a GM suppose to do surround their best player with talent period...

I remember when Jordan couldn't buy a basket one game in the playoffs ninja had 22 off FTs but his team won by 10 still..

Same with Bron in Miami he's had smedium games and who stepped up? Bosh, Wade, Ray, Miller, Haslem etc

You gotta surround your best player with better than that the competition

Klay get them there in game 6 and those last 5 mins it was Steph and Iggy that put them away

Game 7 Steph put them away.. That's what your MVP does in the crucial moments you need them

Granted this is game 1.. Steph couldn't make a shot but check his intangibles that didn't make the state sheet he's drawing double teams on traps now who's open and where's the miss match? Easy buckets for the bench so in. Essence Steph didn't even have to do much.. Now watch the cavs let up on Steph and he's going to bake them properly

With those open looks Barnes and the rest of the cast will continue to score and score easily.

This is what makes Curry great. He will not shoot his team out of a game. Curry does not have an ego and is willing to let others shine. His team was on fire so he simply took a back seat tonight and let them lead the team while he took on the role of a role player.

His team did not need him so there was no reason for him to jack up shots. Lebron on the other hand took another L:lol:

Don't cop pleas for Lebron. Lebron is the one who put together this stacked super team but when shit ain't going like he wants he tries to paint the narrative that he needs more talent.

The Cavs are not playing as well as Golden State is all on Lebron. If he would have allowed Blatt to run his offense they would have looked like GSW. The Cavs team is fucking stacked so Lebron can't come with those excuses. Curry is the true MVP and without him they were not going 73-9 , beating Portland or OKC.

You arguments actually make Lebron look terrible. If you would simply take a deep breath and calm down, you would see that Lebron does not need defending. Giving credit would actually make your argument stronger instead of trying to come with a weak strawman argument.

His finals record will suck. But is it really a concern? Two of Lebron final losses were two the Sprus. They are one of the best teams and coached teams of all time. His other two losses may come by Golden State. The Warriors may be the best team of all time when it is all said and done.

It ain't no shame in losing to those teams.

Your team is fucking stacked. Lebron refused to be coached. So don't cop pleas now. Stop letting Lebron run your organization. Kerr would have the Cavs looking like world beaters.

But you are failing to understand that Lebron refused coaching. He is the reason the Cavs look the way they do on the court

The fact is GS is not the Pistons,Hawks or Raps

GS is not gonna bullshit like they did last series giving up game up.. That was their wake up call
