We need to start giving him the Lebron treatment, and what people used to say about him. It's bad enough they lost all these fourth quarter leads during the year. This shit was unacceptable. How are you a top three player and a match up nightmare and you have so many problems late in games? Dudes shooting 25 feet from the basket have an easier time scoring?
KD might need to go find his DWade to push him over the top, because he's not winning a ring by himself, even with Russ. At least Barkley, Ewing and Malone can say they had Jordan blocking them. Lebron has allowed others to win.
and the east? Who believes Atlanta or Toronto could even beat the Clippers in a series? Hell I might pick Portland.

Biggest question.... GS just proved they can win with their backs against the wall... Now it's OKCs turn.. Will they be real tight and overwhelmed by the pressure of the moment? This may have some truth to is, but here is how I look at it... On OKC KD is forced to be a player that he isn't, this is due to this team lacking the vision and commitment to surrounding him with complementary players to fit his style..
Instead they seem hellbent with promoting him and Westbrook as the next big thing, marking them as them as LeBron and Kobe.. The problem with that logic is that even Kobe and LeBron (heck you can throw in Jordan in the mix) needs the proper player around them in order to win... But instead of building a championship team by accumulation talent, all OKC has done since K.D. been there was get rid of talent that could help his style of play and when they did have that talent, they was too busy trying to give K.D. and Westbrook the push, at the expense of the other talent, not thinking well maybe K.D. is better suited being Pippen than Jordan, while Westbrook being a better fit at 2 or perhaps 3..
But ass long as they keep putting up that fools gold stats the circus at OKC will continue...

OKC achillies heel is that they are so top heavy with talent that their two stars are forced to play those ungodly minutes and compounding things even worse they are forced to do the bulk of the heavy defense due to them lacking defensive specialist that can allow them to rest their stars on defense...
Look at is this way Thompson was allowed a big rest during the end of the 3rd while Curry hardly had to break a sweat on defense vs Waiters, meanwhile on the other side, Westbrook was forced to guard either Thomspon or Curry, with no break in the 2nd half, while Durant had to take a million shots while playing defense vs everybody..
In the end OKC lost because they wore down, and when you wear down you start missing those shots you make, you become mentally fatigue so you start becoming careless with the ball, and instead of fighting through those picks to stick with Curry you are a step behind giving him space to do what he does..
This is why I said that if OKC doesn't pump that lead to 15 by the late 3rd, the game is over, they literally have to blow them away to have a chance at beating Golden St.

When any team in any sports starts playing that "let's slow it down" ball they're in trouble of losing. When Westbrook started walking the ball up the court and they were trying to run "plays" to run the shot clock down before they took a shot i KNEW they were gonna lose. At one point GS was like fuck the 2 and was only going for 3's, they were missing them but with OKC choking by letting GS get offensive rebounds and then slowing the ball down and CHOKING with those turnovers and taking bad shots they are now at home dreading that Game 7
okc lost this game cause they reverted back to how they were playing in the regular season. russ and especially kd always go to that damn iso at the top of the key. they drive into a congested lane either taking a bad/tough shot or leading into a turnover usually around 5 seconds on the clock. teams know this they know this but they just cant get over the mentality that the ball has to be in their hands the whole possession . its horrible offense and it allows the defense to rest . fresh legs on the other end and tired superstars cause they trying to do too much. just pass the ball and run the offense. trust your teammates....they can score too

The wins that OKC has gotten are are win they get scoring from everyone and take Curry out of the offense. Ibaka & Kanter are double digit scorers. It's win they get offense from Adams, Robertson, and Waiters, that makes them them Warrior killers. If they don't get a collective effort then it's over.

KD & Westbrook went into iso mode taking bad shots and getting stripped by Iggy. If they had run a few plays or even used a pick they would have been probably better off.
