Because it's Game 7, all the faith that KD and RW had in their teammates in those first 4 games will be gone. The pressure will be on Waiters, Roberson, and Adams to come up big, and if they don't show up in the first quarter, KD and RW will put it all on themselves and try to win it on their own.

Nah... because the best way to play them, especially westbrook, is to have him chase the other teams two best players for 48 minutes... Anybody who has ever played the game on a serious level knows that when you are fatigued outside of your physical play the next thing to go is your mental makeup and approach. Most really BAD mistakes happen late in games, especially when a player is tired. They've been running westbrook ragged the entire series chasing Curry which is part of the reason he is shooting such a horrible percentage lately and is gassed in the 4th quarters... but hey, as long as he's on Curry all game that is a great strategy..... I guess :smh:

But you said, in this very same thread, that Westbrook doesn't guard Curry the whole game. Please explain?

role players rarely show up in game 7s on the road...

I won't do that to you Dude... I'm really trying to let you bow out with your L gracefully but you refuse too...

...anyway, google the definition of attrition for me and copy and paste it with your next posts... :hmm:

You said Steph being fresh from not guarding Westbrook equals roast, yet you still haven't explained games 1,4,and 5.

:ssshhh: your sounding desperate now lil Guy... Stop it Man... I know that L doesn't taste good but hey... they aren't supposed to...

So, were you wrong then, or are you wrong now. Which is it? Emoticons can't save you. You've been long on talk and short on explanations.

Can't explain????

I see what you are trying to do.... But you gets non here... Post the definition of attrition, and answer your own question. I actually did explain, but just like you continued to put your foot in your mouth and made an ass out of yourself and proved you know absolutely nothing about basketball with your defensive theory, you are about to make another ass out of yourself and rack up another L with this dumb ass analogy you made about games 1,3,4 concerning Westbrook, AND further validating my point I just owned your ass on tonight and Thursday..

So again, post the definition of the word attrition and answer your own weak ass deflect to another topic question and take another L.... I won't be replying to any more of your butt hurt post until I see that definition posted so don't waste your time with anything else... I know that L taste bitter as fuck, I see you trying to avoid doubling down on it too...

You might want to quit while you are behind though Bruh...

He's got to find a way.

cannot do it. its too late to do it too. you not gonna run with waiters and foye for extended minutes at this point. just too late. they gonna have to play the full 48.

Shit, you told me he is eating of open looks from Curry. I said the playoffs when he was eating proved that wrong. KT is a beast in his own right.

cause at the time he most def was. curry was playing all world and you'd be ok with leaving klay he had literal catch and shoot games.

in the playoffs he had to be the man. when steph went down he had to step up and play like a star and he is. tonight he scored more points but he's been scoring and defending all series and all playoffs too.

steph is the one who has to match him now.

Play hard. Play focused. Dialed in from the beginning to the end.
That's all they gotta do. That's it.
it's not going to be easy.

If Westbrook is on Curry to start the game and for more than 70% of the game, you already know whats good bruh. Donovan has been coaching his ass off in the playoffs, but that is indicative of a rookie coaching mistake...

OKC coach has to find a way to rest these cats more. At the end of the game they are mentally and physically tired, They are doing old man Kobe mistakes at the end of games.

Nah man that ain't it. I hate the tired excuse. They just choked. Durant needs to give the team RW Durant came up small as hell

not really. you have to do it.
you have to put him on him because you cannot let him get going. that's the difference and why he's the mvp
if he lights it up the entire team goes into a frenzy and its a wrap. so i don't blame him for that. you cannot survive if steph goes steph.

They should have thought about that during the trade deadline, matter fact they had 4 years to fix the problem and instead of making it better they get rid of Reggie Jackson and Harden two players who would have helped..

In my opinion OKC is the worse run organization in the NBA even worse than Philly, because at least with Philly they know they suck so why not throw shit on the wall seeing if it sticks.. The 6ers are hopping to land that premiere superstar then build, OKC had four if you want to count Jackson, and to me Ibaka could have been a star if he was developed correctly...
For Philly to stoop to this level they would have to blunder 4 superstar players the way OKC has...

They should move back to Seattle. I REALLY want to call them the Seattle SuperSonics. Oklahoma ain't shit, black wall street is gone thanks to those cacs and they a football state anyway and that's because they pull Texas players.

I would actually put Russell on Klay and let Roberson play Steph. Klay is less taxing as his style of play outside of running off picks is less stressful than guarding Steph. To me thats where the Thunder have made their mistake. You play Russell on Steph for 85% of games for 7 games, in addition to how that fool doesn't have a middle gear on offense, and you are asking for him to be burned out.

He would only play Steph on switches, and for them to ask him to be effective offensively, as well as guard up on the most dynamic player on the team, is a recipe for disaster.

I don't know who wins game 7, but for me, this strategy is front and center to why there will be a game 7. Look at who in the last two games, was in the center of the wins... and who was guarding them...
