I wonder if the Warriors do meet up vs the Cavs if Cleveland play a line up of Irving, James in the back court, Smith at the 3 Love and Frye, this would force the Warriors to play small, and pull Green out the paint at the same time...
If they played that lineup, GS would kill them...Frye isnt good; and neither is Smith; they would be playing right into GS hands...

Remember both Thompson and LeBron dominated last season playing center when the Warriors went small, and this was with out much outside shooting and a short bench...
Thompson didnt dominate nothing; and truthfully neither did LBJ; he had his worst statistical playoff performance ever, or one of the worst; dude was shooting 30 times to get 30 points, thats not dominate; Again with Kyrie and Love playing major mins, Cavs will get exploited; neither of them will help them on the defensive end; And frye is the biggest liability they have on defense, and thats saying alot...

The Warriors would be hard protecting the paint vs Irving and LeBron while defending all those three point shooters... In the past when the Cavs scored, the Warriors would often hit them back with the three point ball, and doing the math two points can not keep up with three.. But the Blazers proved that if you can hit the three point ball the Warriors have a hard time blowing you out the park, like teams who only shoot the two ball..
This was one flaw the Cavs had last season, something the remolded their team this season to deal with ...

And how would the Cavs protect the paint??? And the blazers have 2 guards who can create and shoot; LBJ doesnt shoot the 3 well; and Irving is below average also; no other players can create their own shot; Cavs are easy to guard; dont get fooled by ATL and what Detroit did

Are you crazy, LeBron was clearly the best player during the finals last season... Matter fact he broke just about every scoring record for the finals, last season....

LBJ stats: 39% from the field, 31% from 3pt, 68% from free throw; he average 35pts a game; so he shot 30 times to get 30 points but thats dominate??..Look at those %s whats dominate about a player that does that??? those are some D Rose type #s...

And how would the Cavs protect the paint???
You almost have to play the Warriors backwards, you dare them to beat you with a inside game by not worrying about protecting the paint... By doing so you cut down on their three point shots...
When they hit the two you push it up fast, and either hit them for the three or you go back and attack their paint the same way...
At the end of the day it would be Irving, James attacking the paint with no center, vs Curry and Thompson attacking their paint with no Center... The advantage the Cavs would have is that they will still have James and Freye who can block shots and while its would be smart pulling them out the paint with Green and their other big men taking the three, it would still be a win for the Cavs if they take the three point shot as opposed to Curry...
So While on offense, the Cavs big guys in their small line up, should keep the Warriors from sagging in the paint... Yet on defense they should be able to sag and help out in the paint just a little...

nope Im not doing this with you :smh:; you had me suckered in for a minute; nope nope nope...

Due to injuries he was forced to be a high volume shooter, same thing when he played against the Hawks... But with a healthy club he is now able to play with in his game...

because again you said he played with 3 all stars; then you started arguing semantics; well I didnt say all stars, I said all star caliber/talents
No you bitch. This is what i said originally. There was no "then you sid"... My first post was about the talent level and as such i purposely framed it that way. I clearly said "caliber/talent". YOU stated otherwise, and then when corrected (as usual) you went full retard instead of just keeping it moving.. Which i when i reminded you of you track record of saying stupid shit, running from it (like you are now) and then apologizing when i rub your face in the shit..
You are clearly misguided thinking Russ plays with anyone outside of KD that is on any type of all star level;
Hey man... If you insist on doubling down on stupid then have at it my man.. Im done talking bout the matter.. Been done until you brought it back up... My point remains, Dame had no place in the discussion. Period.

Man, that squad was broke down. Admit that. What the cavs ...err Lebron did last year was crazy.

With that said, Curry is on some shit that needs to be studied. He was great last year, but this is lab coat shit. Also, Klay is a superstar who can carry a team. There is also Green. Kerr has his shit together. GS is scary.

If Lebron goes Lebron and Curry goes Curry -- and all the supporting casts hold up -- the finals will go 7 and be the best ever.

Go Raptors!

If you have good handle you can use the screen to attack the paint, due to them not having any rim protectors. As the result they often collapse hard in the paint, leaving the three point shooters wide open..
This is all Portland did during the series, on one on one iso very little assist or passing...
I
This would be false. They played that way because they decided to make it hard to score for Lillard and McCollum and force everyone else to try and score.

No you bitch. You apologized because you were fucking wrong and was boxed in on your bullshit once i pulled all the quotes showing such. Yet you still windowdressing the shit now saying i made bad predictions about GSW... I didnt muthafucka. That was the point of pulling the quotes.. To show i did not! You were wrong period. And the fact you insist on the revisionist bullshit is why im calling the bitch nigga you are. The child or woman is the one who cant let shit go, continue arguing petty nonexistent points after being exposed as a liar and fool, and who refuses to admit being wrong and moving on with life (ie, YOU).

Lol...this car arguing into a mirror. .

And it's iso. Drive and kick all night the man to man defense is fine its when you run thru multiple screens and then get attacked by guys who can shoot the 3 and then kick it out.

Listen the 2nd best back court in the nba was just on the court. 2 dudes who can drop 50 or 28+ a piece like tonight.
Kerr already said is defensive scheme for Portland was to force Portland backcourt into tough shots and force the other players to make shots. The Blazers had people open because GSW left them open

Frye and love as your bigs? It would be a layup drill for Golden State.

Did he really say Frye and love as the bigs vs GSW. That would be the quickest 4 game sweep ever. The Warriors would destroy that line up.

Right teams does this, which was part of the reason Andre won the finals MVP last year.
That fool was surprised at some of the open shots he hit.

This nigga swear up and down the cavs going 7 with GS

This the type of shit niggas say who ain't use to winning lmao

Way to put that in context bro. You never hear the flip side of that performance last finals. Dude put up big numbers, but that had to be the most inefficient performance we've seen in a long time. I think it's overblown a little bit, because with that depleted team they were able to take it to six games. But ultimately LeBron took a lot of shots, which he had to, missed a lot of shots missed a lot of free throws. Can't take away from his efforts carrying that team through all of those rounds of the playoffs, but let's keep the perspective where it is it was not an effective performance at all!

No argument there from me; he clearly wasnt playing with a full team; but RR said he was dominant; he was far from dominant; i am intrigued with seeing both play at full strength; I still dont think Cavs play good defense and I think GS will win...

Shit is retarded; neither play defense in any way; GS will kill that lineup; and neither would be affective on the offensive end; they both would get dominated; but let RR tell it.....

(CP Alert) :D

Looking at the current scenarios, I've got to say GS is the favorite. I was really riding with the CAVs for a bit, and I still would not be surprised if they win it all, but a few Dudes on here helped me put thing in it's proper context (I won't mention their names because I refuse to give those punks eDap! ), but as much as the CAVs are undefeated, they haven't beaten a team that has forced them to play through their weaknesses. Ball Movement, great parameter shooting, teams that run their offense through the pass instead of dribbling. The two teams they've swept played right into their hands and helped hide their defensive deficiencies. Also, Love and Kyrie have been playing lights out consistently which is not normal. Truth is, LeBron is the ONLY position the CAVs have the advantage, PG is in GS's favor but that is the closest non LeBron position the CAVs rate. All others are a literally whip out for the Warriors. OKC may beat the Spurs and pull an upset on GS, but my money is on a GS/Cavs final...

Hell of a game last night. Blazers ain't no ho. Plumlee gotta work on a 15 footer all offseason.

One can only imagine how different this series would look if Myles Leonard was playing instead of Plumlee.

Has a jumper and can run and crash the boards like Plumlee

Listen Im going to say it right now; If GS is healthy, it wont go 7; If GS shoot the way that shot against Portland, no one is beating them period; Cavs are trying to play at a faster pace; No one is beating GS playing like that; that plays right into what GS wants to do; notice how even the Spurs slowed down from their normal pace when they would play GS; every big man the Cavs has is a liability playing against GS; everyone gets fooled because they played the hawks:hmm:; Hawks are one of the phoniest teams ever to make the playoffs; People are so called up in what they think they see right now; Just like when Steph got hurt, everyone was like omg GS is done, this and that blah blah; where are all those posters at that came out of lurker mode??? SAS came said they will not be the Clips without steph, blah blah blah; What happen next, well Clips lost their whole dam team:hmm:; GS is above everyone without question when they are healthy; no matter the team...

Who was it that was blowing the horn back in Dec about how the Spurs were gonna give GS that work and how great they matched up to them? Dude was persistent as hell with that shit too

They just need a 3rd scorer. And a defensive anchor.

You have a star in Lillard and a good #2 in c.j

That's really most of the battle if we're being honest

You can go to the 2nd round of the playoffs if you have those 2 things

Yeah but at the end of the day they get all if that and they still playing for second or third place. They still in that second or third tier of teams. They will be just like the rest of the teams like Clippers, Mavs, Grizz....
