funny I was rooting for Villanova this year just off that Nas line...
it was stuck in my ear for some reason
and they were going for Jay's neck this year...
'Nova would have been a #1 if they didn't lose late in the year so they don't surprise me. Virginia plays ugly ball. Just ugly man. That's how their coach likes it but they never seem to get past big athletic teams. I really thought Kentucky would get it. I was never sold on NC, still ain't but they have the most important element: guard play. If #5 is on fuggedaboutit. They're long and they jump out the gym. Buddy and the jets would have to rain 3s.
If Paige is the Paige of his sophomore year, it really doesn't matter how well the other teams play. NC would win it easily. They're just another tier above anyone left. VA could slow it down and dirty it up, but they tried that in the conference tourney. Didn't work.
As much as I hate to say it....i think Villanova is going to win it.
