6. Heru dies and was resurrected twice as Asar (Osiris) and as an infant. Superman died and was resurrected.
7. Heru fights the never-ending battle for Maat, which is Truth, Justice and Righteousness. Maat is his mother Auset (Isis). Superman fights for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
8. Heru is an Angel of God or Amon -Ra called a neter in Egyptian theology. Superman’s real name is Kal- El.
9. Heru possesses the All-Seeing Eye of Atum -Ra, God which is an aspect of his mother Auset, thereby giving him omniscience and solar heat vision. Superman has X-ray vision, telescopic vision and heat vision.
10. Heru is of the House of God, Atum-Ra. Superman is of the House of EL, God.

short answer no. the modern superman story that we have today is not how it was originally conceive. the 1930's origin and powers are way different, any comic fan can tell you that.

it took 5 years of development and redevelopment for Jerry Seigel and Joe Shuster to get Superman sold and published on a regular basis. his story changed over and over until it was about a really strong durable guy in tights.

no flight, no heat vision, and notihing else, mainly because he was heavily influenced by Doc Savage.

In general they stole all of their "religion" from our legends, fables and beliefs, so, yeah. Also the parts about Doc Savage and powers being different are true. Supes was originally a jew hero against nazi power if I remember correctly.
