DespiteTerrell Owens' locker-room antics, most NFL experts agree that the former Eagles wide receiver deserves to be voted into the Hall of Fame someday. Despite his impressive career statistics, Owens' candidacy divided voters, who reportedly debated for 43 minutes before deciding he wasn't one of the 10 best candidates.
Owens was snubbed this year in favor of fellow wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and the Philadelphia native appears sick and tired of hearing Owens complain about not being elected in.
During an interview with the Talk of Fame Network on Wednesday, Harrison ripped Owens for his continued complaints, telling hosts Ron Borges, Rick Gosselin and Clark Judge that he was never concerned he’d be overlooked this season.
“The person who was supposed to get in got in. And that was me,” the usually mild-mannered Harrison said. “He can talk all that other bull---- like he’s been doing. That’s on him. But I’m in. My jacket is gold.
“So he can get his ass in whenever he gets in… if he gets in,” Harrison continued. “If he doesn’t get in, too bad. The hell with him.”
Harrison, an eight-time Pro Bowler, ended his career third all-time with 1,102 receptions, fifth all-time with 128 touchdowns, and seventh all-time with 14,580 receiving yards.
Owens finished just behind Harrison with 1,078 career receptions, but ended his career with more touchdowns (153) and receiving yards (15,934). So does Harrison think Owens deserves to be in the Hall of Fame?
“If it was up to me, Isaac Bruce, Reggie Wayne … Randy Moss… can all get in,” Harrison said, ignoring Owens altogether. “They got a lot of class with them. If they didn’t get in the same time I got in, they’d have had a better approach about it as opposed to this guy.”

In terms of statistics, Owens has more career receptions, yards and touchdowns than either Bruce or Wayne.
Daily News columnist David Murphy made the case that Owens’ numbers compare favorably to those of Randy Moss, who most experts assume will be a sure Hall of Famer when he becomes eligible in 2018.
“Both players had a habit of wearing out their welcome, Owens just happened to do it more destructively than Moss,” Murphy wrote. “I do understand the argument for holding that against him.”
