Michael Jordan may want to consider changing his nickname to "His Billionaireness."

The NBA legend was named to Forbes' "World Billionaires" list for the second straight year Tuesday, with a net worth valued at $1.14 billion. He is the 1,577th richest person on the planet and No. 486 in the United States.

Good. If he were on that fight the power nonsense he wouldn't have been a team owner nor a success in motorsports.

Props.

If he were on that "devils" fight for his people bgol speak. He wouldn't have had the financial success.

He would have love from his conmunity not the nice home in Deerfield Illinois nor Florida. If he would have went the starbury route he probably wouldn't be as financially successful.

He has love for his family and he gives back. Now generations from now his family which is most important and the end of the day is taken care of.

Republicans buy sneakers too.

yet young black boys DIE each day or week, over his shoes...

and he sells overpriced cars at 29.999% intrest rates at his car dealers in NC/SC to people with bad credit.

He's not pulling the trigger and it's not his fault that idiots value life so little to kill for his sneakers...

...and, if the interest is too high, go somewhere else and buy your car... Duhhhh....

Haters gon hate!!

Get that Money Mike!! :money:

Nice try We have enough people caring about Flint. I realized I didn't care about certain causes that happened in recent yrs so I stopped asking

if mj made a billy off nike, imagine what nike made off jordan...
they do at least double his net worth. annually. and thats just off jordans.

add in the sales he and his name have influenced by raising nikes profile. also sales he's contributed to outside the jordan brand... sheeeet.

i would love to see the first black owned sneaker company kick ass. it's literally never been done before. it's a huge market that we should have a big piece of like womans haircare. but its so damn hard and expensive to get an athletic shoe brand hot...

whatever... congrats to him thou.... but his product is almost as bad a crack to young black kids

The people who buy his shoes, are the same ones he will treat like shit, if they ever met him.

Fuck Nike.
Fuck his shoes.
Fuck his socks with the bell on them.
Fuck him in general.

It's not and like most rich people who profit off the idiocy of the masses, he will continue to be a billionaire.

It's kind of disgusting, but that's why I'm not rich.

Its this the bgol e morality hour? Drizzy , and You should do a radio show. He's crazy talking about he talks with dead folks and your logic for your economic choices are hilarious seriously.

No one is bitter. We just know that rich folks don't care about poor folks as long as they are getting bread.
And yet..when Stephan Marbury started his sneaker/apparel line, folk called them trash..wack...bullshit...and a host of other things. This brother was trying to do his part to break the cycle of young black men dying over a sneaker by making them affordable for everyone. Were they the greatest in the world..no. But you have to start somewhere. Maybe with time they would have improved, but then it would have been difficult to keep them at the same price point. I don't know..I don't have all the answers. it just seems to me that people want to blame Jordan for the actions of knuckleheads rather than blame the knucklehead. Trust me...if the price of Jordans were slashed in half, knuckleheads would still be trying to rob to get them. If folk want to hate on Jordan, they gonna do what they gonna do. However...the man is a billionaire...a feat that very few people (not just black people) can achieve. To come from a humble background..become a star athlete..and then achieve the things he has after basketball should be celebrated. And trust me..I'm no Jordan stan....never had a pair of Jordan's in my life.

That's how capitalism works.

I don't have that rich mentality. It's not my class. In other words, broke ninja talk. But I understand what you're sayin about the come up. But I honestly (and not just me) don't see the celebration in it. But the way capitalism works, people will be sacrificed so an individual can become a billionaire. Not directly his fault that people are idiots over some sneakers, but he will benefit with no fucks to give. not just him, but billionaires like him.

I don't like what the brand is but WE DO NOT HAVE TO BUY IT...

We can't keep complaining about it and then buy it.

As far as what Nike makes thats business......

The worker does not make more then the boss... Simple....

Wont front my son has had some Lebrons and he is 7 now. Only plays ball in the them. He will be rocking New Balance.

We have choices. And his car lot? That again is business, ALL CAR LOTS ARE SCUMMY!

Don't get it wrong I don't condone or don't have the stomach to do the same if I was in the same position but come on y'all. Lets stop playing the victim, ALL THE TIME.

I bought a pair of his shoes when I was in middle school, but I never had to fight over them or nobody ever tried to rob me for them. I wish a nigga would have tried to rob me for my shoes, they would be six feet deep right now.
