NBA Allstar 2016 thread - Toronto "6 God made it happen" - Complete Schedule of Events!!!

They would ban me from the ASG. I would be in there trying to steal the ball, block shots, run plays, break ankles, dunk on heads, etc.

That's I don't get. Why does it matter where you play if you're winning? A winnig team will bring out the best even in the worst cities. Come November you're traveling all the time until April if you miss the playoffs. That is arguably the worst time of year(Winter time) and then you have Spring and Summer for the offseason to do as you please. Most players have offseason homes in their favorite states, money to travel etc. Show up for practice and camp.

Family shouldn't be an issue. These athletes can literally afford the best of what damn near any state has to offer so the family should be set. The best schools restaurants etc. That "High life" shit.

You go live in Cleveland then come back and tell us your experience Lmaoo

Don't matter how much money you have the state of Ohio is a shit hole

On a side note, Lebron's a coward for never entering the dunk contest :smh:

and he set that shit up for all these other young dudes to skip it, like Andrew Wiggins.

Now dudes are too concerned about losing or looking bad.

They did George dirty as shit

PG shoulda got that

Nah he didn't deserve that record and the players and Coach Pop felt the same way

I would have liked to seen him in at, but I think coward is a bit of a reach; too strong of a word...

I believe he entered the McDonald's High School dunk contest his senior year before he turned pro.

So once he gets into the league he no longer has the interest? He wasn't hurt and he was known to dunk, there's no other reason for it.

lol what happened w/ paul george...did they block a final shot attempt?

He had nothing to gain from it. If he lost all dudes would say is he lost to some scrub, Jordan wouldn't have. Or if he wins, Jordan's dunks were better. Let the nobody's compete in the dunk contest. Slam Dunk Trophies aren't that important in the grand scheme of things.

Props to PG on a big game, but the Dipper's record of 42 in the ASG still stands, 56 years later.

I watched the three point contest twice..

If,anyone can find a better version I would really appreciate it..This one got like three people speaking in different languages at the same time.

LeBron never really seemed like a dunk contest type to me been telling folks this for years. I think he knows he would lose. Never seen him do anything that would be considered a 8 dunk throughout his whole career.

PG was 1 field goal away from having the most pts scored in an All Star game, so Popovich told Green and Durant to double team him on his last shot attempt. And then in the final seconds, Curry held the ball and then chucked up a half court 3 so PG would only have 2 seconds to get that last basket and I don't think he even got the ball.

He still ended up with the most 3 in an All-Star game, tho.
