Just picked up the Slavo and shortened it to 6 inches. Can't wait to put it through the paces.

Sweet..... I just filled out and sent in two Form 4's. One for a Salvo, and the other for Osprey .45k.

GianoJaun, are you stateside? If not how does title 2 (NFA) work where you're from?

Do you guys use budsgunshop.com or do you go to gun shows?

Not sure if I'm about that redneck life

www.theoutdoorstrader.com
It's a message board for trading/selling guns & anything outdoors related, based in GA

Private sales between two individuals don't require bill of sale. They even have a feedback rating system to let everybody know who the sheisters are that stood you up, no shows, renege after agreeing on price, etc.

Yeah I am stateside. I wanted that damn Osprey but wanted FDE to match my FN 45 tactical but was told they stopped making them in FDE. So I went with the Octane 45. Both are nice surpessors congrats on the purchase you'll be pleased after the ATF waiting game.

How you shorten it? And why? Won't that effect function as far as suppression goes?

The salvo comes with 12 inch rod kit standard. You buy the 6, 8, or 10 inch rod kits and install the rods and take off the baffles that you don't need. I'm do some testing but from what I read the sound suppression is still comfortable using the 6 inch. And I shortened it because vepr is heavy enough and throwing that added 6 inches just made it too difficult to point.

What's y'all take on the M&P's? I like the way the palm swell feels in my hand, haven't shot 1 yet.. but I see 'em for ~$400 & people are pretty much -_- .

Something I don't know?

 Looks like a governor. Imo, Governor > Judge.

Something about Taurus & Ruger, just don't like em :dunno:

Regular M&P or the shield?

I did a lot of research before I got mine and heard very little bad things about it. The shield is great for it's size and concealment.

One dude on youtube has gotten 7,000 rounds out of it without any fail

My money is on it being a judge. But I do agree with you that the S&W governor edges the judge a lil bit by having the night sights and one extra round...plus it's lighter and you can shoot 45acp with moon clips.

I have a full size M&P 9, that I use as a suppressor host. I hated the pull and grittiness of the trigger until, I installed an APEX trigger.

What's the difference between the regular M&P and the Shield?
Which do you have?

So yours isnt a Shield?

Is that trigger available for the SW40VE (Sigma)?

I would wanna get a 9 & 45 in the smallest that they offer. Subcompact? :dunno:

Man, I passed on another Glock 30SF for $400 today :-/

Fuck it, I need a pickup truck. And some ammo.

No it's not a Shield. I never liked the feel of the Shield. The APEX trigger isn't available for the SW40VE series, but you can get the APEX spring kit.

APEX Spring Kit

Damn, 30SF for 4 bills. I wouldn't have been able to resist. The resale on that would have been $500- $550. all day......

Thanks for the link. What will this take the pull down to? I'm reading 8 lbs on some other sites.

Yea, I ain't got into reselling yet.. I should have tho. I had a feeling I would have got it and kept it, just because. I need to chill on buyin.

Today I saw a grey G19 for trade only... he wants a G34 or G40 MOS for it.

You know you would be getting it for yourself :D

Give it to her.. then decide that you need to replace it with something else. And just keep it for yourself

i dont like revolvers man. i typically prefer semi-autos with high capacity magazines.

I feel you, I'm the same way. Wheel guns are more of a novelty or back up.

I'm more defense minded and thinking about a "situation", nothing less than 10 rounds. Even the revolvers I like are 7 & 8 round. I'm looking at revolvers & 1911's tho, just to have & try out

LMAO you sound more offensive minded. I ain't trying to stir up the revolver vs semi debate but if you need 10 rounds to get yourself out a defensive situation...well you need more practice with your sidearm. The way that reads sounds like you getting dropped off in the middle of 20 foes and have to shoot your way out. if you're in a defensive situation you would want to use stealth and use your gun as your last resort. Ahhhhh man inno I love guns period so I guess I see the value in them all no matter what but carry on :D

Check out this vid. It made me change my thinking to be more calculated rather than relying on the number of rounds I have in my sidearm.

Colin is one of the only rednecks not doing it and he's getting further than those confederate flag waving fuck boys.

I saw one dude ranting about black lives matters.

I have a Shield

The shield is smaller and better for conceal carry. It's one of the top conceal carries on the market as far as size, recoil and being like a full size gun. It's trigger is also updated for the S&W series.

What you talking about? Colin?
One of the only rednecks not doing what?

All shields are single stack, right?

I meant he's not a redneck doing gun reviews on Youtube

and yeah it's single stack, 7 or 8 clip including the chamber

Buzzard bump...couldn't resist as I always wanted a 1911 but didn't want to spend a lot on something I won't shoot too much...well, not as much as my 9mm's
