Awwwww damn Meek.
This is the WORSE option.
But I think SOMEONE on bgol actually predicted he would completely castrate himself...
So so far the whole Jay Z Roc Nation TIDAL thing was bulsh*t
Nicki NEVER backed Meek or went after Drake (hell she barely went back at Safaree)
MMG NEVER backed Meek ether
Flex's career and Drama's career took a MAJOR hit...
and the ghostwriter is done before he even started.
The whole ghostwriting reference track angle has somehow someway been completely forgotten
and Drake has made millions in a week by being dissed by a B-level rapper
Drake has solidified his MC status (despite said reference track)
Drake has now become MORE famous if possible
Drake has a few dozen new corporate sponsors.
Drake has pretty mush added "Charged Up" and "Back 2 Back" into the modern lexicon
Toronto has been FURTHER put on the map
Drake completely OBLITERATED Meek's career damaged the MMG brand and now has put a huge warning sign to any other people coming for his spot.
Toronto Blue Jays have been on a 9 game winning streak
WOW...
Jaden Smith just missed his period with this news.
You can take it like that or....
You can notice that since AR AB has sort of entered the equation (partly cuz Drake mentioned it)
It could potentially turn into some street shit and Meek has seen enough to NOW be smarter about it and let it go.
He started it on some bullshit, and he definitely "lost" the battle but I think this is a smarter move than continuing down the path it's now going.
No one wants to hear a diss song from him anymore and now local Philly people are getting into it so it's no longer a rap battle.
All that shit was weeks ago anyway. We should ALL be letting it go.
Meek lost a rap battle to Drake. So what? Only thing that will "kill his career" was the shit that mattered before all this. What songs he puts out next and if people like him.
We, as fans shouldn't be egging shit on to try and make it become more than just a battle.
