How do you like that ACOG, I am looking for some optics of the Scar (17s) currently I have a USO 1-8 sr on it. THE good ole USO is just to heavy for a battle rifle.

I like it for what this rifle is used for. It's clear, easy to pick up in a number of different light conditions and always on. Only downside it's 1.5X so it is for short work only. What mount you running on the USO? I swapped out my P.E.P.R. mount on my 1-6X that's on my Tavor for one of those ultralight Aero precision mounts. It made it a different rifle.

LARUE mount, what type of trigger you have on your tavor. I have the slacky timmey, I should have waited for the "G". I am looking at the Elcan 1x6 for the 17s but I hear about the zero problems when you flick the lever from 1 power. I hated the acog when I am was in, but now I am looking at something for the SCAR (17).

Yeah I put the G in my Tavor. Put one in the Scar 17 too, have a friend with the Elcan 4x with Docter RMR on top and he swears by it. He puts it through hell too and no complaints. Currently I got my 17 set up for longer range with a Leupold mark IV.

Cool, yeah don't know if it will get much range time. But one of those guns to check off the list. What finish did you go with? I had to jump on this one. They were selling it at the cost of the 357 version, brand new and this is the newest model with the integrated muzzle brake.

I got the 6" Black XIX (w/o Brake). I'm probably never going to shoot her. Mine was one of those bucket list purchases......
