You missed the point.
I dont work in the media but I could tell the light skinned guy all he wanted to know is Dames' response to the social media gossips and the Jay Z Fall out. Same old question that he's been asked by the same light skinned guy in over 13 interviews.
I dont blame Dame for refusing to answer the Jay Z question. I can bet you this light skinned guy has never called Jay and asked him about this old age question that has been addressed before.
In addition the light skinned guy was shouting and getting more arrogant and in the end he lost out.
The central thesis of Dame's argument to the interviewer PLUS others in that work for the radio station (all of them are black) is they could be their own boss.
I cant see nothing wrong with a blackman advocating for the black empowerment among blacks.
Black people pooling economic resources is not an unrealistic fantasy or “wishful thinking” naysayers often want our people to believe. I can tell you in Africa we have our own AFRICA DEVELOPMENT BANK that is already financing lots of infratsructure and energy projects in different countries at a relatively low interest rates compared to what the WORLD BANK and other multilateral institutions offer Afrocan countries

In America, I wish to inform you that nationwide, efforts large and small are underway to put into motion the means and methods of making economic development and economic growth in Black communities not just a slogan but a functioning reality. Owning our own shit should include small, medium and large businesses. The word here is OWNERSHIP
