I think it was worse early but I can see he is different but clearly influenced but not in a bad copy cat way...
I think Ghost was more train of thought aggressive wild references with that wu-slang and drug vibe...and when ghost flips the switch and goes into soul mode or All I got Is you mode? Its lights out.
Bam seems to take that similar stream of consciousness style but uses HIS influences movies TV comics and cooking (and is MUCH easier to decipher but STILL cryptic) . Its much more distinctive now. And his beat selection is excellent. I can HEAR ACTION now...tot he point I have heard MCs try to bite HIS flow.
I would love to hear them on the same record.

Wha Madlib did was make two beats that complemented each other perfectly. If you listen to both without the lyrics you automatically get the feel of what Gibbs did on those tracks. You can feel the Lakers winning championships and you can feel Ewing missing that lay up with yourself replying this expression in you head
