I picked him up in a few leagues. Supposedly, the matter was resolved until today. It is no biggie. I dropped him and placed waiver claims on other running backs. Besides, the waiver wire wins championships anyways. *shrugs*

With all the money and resources the nfl has, how is it possible that they couldn't have seen the tape at this point? What they hoped was that it would be swept under the rug. this happened in feb, suspended in july it's now september, they were counting on the news cycle naturally washing this story away over a 7 month span.
bare minimum if he didn't see the tape but got the description of the incident it should have been 6-8 games.

The reason that this situation is different is because it was captured on video and to most people...it's appalling.
It's unprecedented territory. No athlete has ever had such a damming video released against him and in the world of big business....your bottom line is everything and the NFL nor the Ravens are going to sit back and jeopardize their money over the public relations FIRESTORM this situation would bring if Ray Rice were to keep playing.
It also makes no sense given how big this could have been and how it leaked in the first place with ray rice dragging her out of the elevator.. that he couldn't get his hands on this tape.

Ray Rice shouldn't be in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens is my team but there is no excuse for that type of behavior coming from an NFL player. The NFL should reevaluate his case and ban him from the league.
