you know I can't argue this.
but we can all say that about ALL these emotional self improvement memes.
But at their root they all have some truth that is why they become popular they touch a nerve.
We got a few threads on the main about brothers who had to cut off long time friends for whatever reason.
Its good for people to not fear change or be TOO dependent on relationships to the point that it defines them completely.
And anyone taking serious relationship advice from social media has an entirely separate and more serious issue.

I thought we had a relationship. I thought I had some grown friends, or at least colleagues I could take counsel with as I respect my elders. ELDERS. That said, you messy. Why you gotta tell what I said, and then tell it wrong? Why? Why you saying shit that ain't got nothing to do with you? Why you grandma, and can't keep your mouth shut?
But you know what? It's all good. You thought you was going to hurt me. Nah...with this...it's out my mind. I don't have to confront you with it. When it's time...you'll know. When you can't get that position at that particular place...you'll know why. When someone get at you for no reason...you'll know why. I don't have to cry. Because despite your tricks to put me down, I was still rising. So I will continue to do that. And rise above this petty shit. That's the funny thing about it, I no longer see this person every day. I've seen them once in two years. Whatever I do will get back to them. So I'll do what do and live, while she sit in the corner and mope.

a friend of mine just had his girl find out about his jump off. now we had been telling him he had a good thing, don't mess up, chill, etc. anyway she played cool when he came home, caught him slipping n hit him in the face with a bottle and damaged his eye with the broken glass. he went immediately to fight or flight mode n he fought back breaking her nose and orbital bone in her face.... after the hospital both they asses went to jail
this shit is not worth the headache...
