So apparently American Jews aren't so anti-war, anti-military and anti-violence when it comes to defending their own Jews only homeland... despite minuscule numbers of Jewish enlistment in the US military, hundreds (or perhaps even thousands) of young American Jewish men are rushing to enlist to fight and die defending Israel against the Palestinians. But will not shed a drop of blood to defend America.

Not that big a deal - American Jews joining IDF is like joining the Boy Scouts for them - they get there - put through some training and then given some back office job. When the shit dies down - they are mustered out - their parents leaves a big check and they are back home in their Shuls taking about being a war hero protecting Israel -

this is great news for Palestine, the amercan jew is idealistic and sheltered. exposure to real conflict and injustice will leave them disillusioned. they will return to america as advocates for the palestinians.

i was just about to post that. there's footage out there where the us govt was questioning african americans on why they wanted to join Ethiopia, they was saying it was their duty to defend them.

I find it odd that Americans can leave to go fight a war and no one is asking what happens with this new wealth of battle knowledge. But if folks from a different religion goes and support their team the issue is bought up instantaneously.
