I was just looking at the free agent list & there some guys that can help out the Rockets. Jemeer Nelosn is a UFA along with Mo Williams. Portland picked up Steve Black so Williams probably ain't going back. They could bring back Aron Brooks aswell. Jordan Crawford would be instant offense for the bench.

That line up would be impossible because of cap restrictions. The first problem you would have is with having enough cap space to sign the player.
To sign a player you first need the cap space. Wade, Bosh and James alone are 60 million. With the cap being 63 million you would not have the cap room to sign Lowry and Gasol.
Remember that an NBA team can operate as an over the cap team or under the cap team.
In the fist scenario you would be operating as an over the cap team which allows the team to keep their players bird rights. You can go over the cap to resign your players. But operating as an over the cap teams has a hard cap of 81 million. That 81 million hard cap is important so remember that number.
So you sign Lowry and Gasol which places you under the league 63 million cap. Once you attempt to sign Bosh, wade and Bron you would exceed the league 63 million cap and the 81 million hard cap in which was mentioned earlier you can't do.
Operating as a team under the cap would give you more flexibility and the Larry bird rule would allow you to exceed the 81 million hard cap. For this to happen you would need to do sign and trades for Gasol and Lowry. But the problem is that you will lose most of your exemptions making it impossible to get role players.
