So when the Cavs make the playoffs this year, does that mean Kyrie will have "learned how to be a winner" or whatever the knock is?

Best believe people stand to clean the fuck up off those eastern conference odds the Cavs had a few weeks back. Hell....even a week ago. Greedy folks might have even took the championship odds.

bet $100 to win $1000 for east conference. Bet $100 win $2000 for championship.

Of course gambling with these online casinos is frowned upon by the 'free' country of America so who would admit to placing bets on this shit....

Posted some odds earlier in this thread.... They wisely took down Lebron futures weeks ago.....

If not for Pau Kobe wouldn't be a laker.

Pau hasn't been the problem. the carousel of wack ass coaches since phil jackson have been the problem. horrible drafts and free agent signings have been the problem

don't give him any sympathy he don't need any lol

he got 2 rings now bout to be out and go to a way better team for a chance with more.

be happy for him.

Who cares about Pau's two rings when he hasn't played to the level he did when they were winning them?

I never said Pau didn't contribute...

...but once again, why does Pau get to lean on his past contributions, but D. Wade is a big joke on BGOL, who everyone criticizes for not playing up to his level in the past?

Every blue moon someone will mention what D. Wade used to be.

Were the Lakers supposed to treat Pau with the respect of the Pau who helped us win rings, when they felt he no longer was playing at that level?

They gonna miss his shooting. Mike may as well join Bron.I think Rey will go back to Miami orjoin a contender.

Hence, you subscribed to that prediction by posting it. You're dumb/ delusional just like the rest of the Chicago dummy's banking on Carmelo coming. You're better than who?, no, you're not. You have a wake up call coming, again.

Pau a 7-foot problem. As the saying goes, you can't teach height.

Wade is a 6'4" cat who needs explosiveness. If he could shoot the 3, he'd be of value.

...and you can't teach heart.

Pau has had his moments, but dude was considered soft before LA ever thought of trading for him...

...but Pau has been made to be more than what he was. The bright lights of LA tend to do that. Shit, you have people even ASKING if Derek Fisher should be inducted into the HOF.

If Pau was this dominant force ...

...fuck that, do you think it's even remotely possible that Chris Bosh would've been traded for Kwame Brown? Pau puts up numbers, but the fact that the man never won a single playoff game as the no. 1 option is telling about how empty his numbers are.

Shit, they weren't GREAT to begin with. When we got him, 11 other players in the league averaged the same or more points and rebounds as him.

I'll tell you this. One of the few moves that could make me go from  to :hmm: is Pau to the Spurs or OKC. We dodged that Bosh to Houston shit. I hope to dodge this Pau shit. Wade can go where the fuck ever.

Vince Carter signs with Grizzlies in place of Mike Miller
July 11, 2014 By Larry Brown Leave a Comment

Vince CarterVince Carter signed a 3-year, $12 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to a report.

The Grizzlies were looking at re-signing Mike Miller, but after learning that Miller was exploring other options, they turned to Carter.

The surprise here is the length of the deal; Carter turns 38 next season. However, he still was productive averaging nearly 12 points per game and playing in 81 games last season for Dallas Mavericks. Also, Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski says the final year is only partially guaranteed.

Carter had interest in returning to Dallas, but the offer from Memphis must have been too sweet.

Miller posted a note on Instagram Friday evening thanking the Grizzlies for his time there last season and saying the Grizzlies informed him they were going in a different direction. It was Miller’s second stint with the franchise.

Pau is very skilled.

If I had my child in a burning building, and only Pau was on the ground to catch it, I'd gladly throw it. Dude's hands were top shelf.

Pau has even admitted he needed to 'play tougher' and 'be more aggressive'. He would do it in spurts, but it's obvious it's just not who he is. He can't sustain it.

Gettin' Pau IS good if you're not depending on him to lead. As a role player, or someone coming off of a bench on a championship caliber team? You should be worried.

He'll give a team hell, if he doesn't have any huge responsibilities. Excellent passer. Decent jumper. And a high IQ player.

But, like I said, you can't teach heart.

To me, that's ALL he lacked....

...but that is huge.

Lebron can't be that dumb. He would have the same problem he had in Miami. Old and Slow:smh:

Naw no he won't. As long as Wiggins, Kyrie, Waiters and Thompson? They can't do it. Them dudes gonna be athletic as fuck and shooting 3's with Mike Miller and Ray Allen. They gonna be deadly as fuck. That coach though.....he's gonna have to know his best bet is to go with that youth and not sacrifice their progression for a Ray Allen or Mike Miller.

Have you given a thought to the fact that the 2 coaches after Phil were absolute trash.... and especially trash at how to run an offense for a big man?

Did mike brown or dantoni do anything to resemble anything that Pau was comfortable with or good at? No. he has declined but let's not act like his skill and will fell all the way off it didn't

he actually performed well considering every year since the last ring he's been the subject of trade talks and actually did get traded before the league rejected it.

Pau needs a change of scenery

not new knees as does the aforementioned wade.

When I talk about wade it's either his flopping for fouls..
his cherry picking defense where he won't even come down.
his horrible defense at times
and his body breaking down.

and all of this is with an offense where he should've been the 3rd option 2 years ago but remained the 2nd option...

Pau to the Spurs would be unfair. The interior scoring and passing at the 4 and 5 position? That shit would be unreal.

Glad they took his old ass off of us. Mavs were intent on giving these old niggas all these contracts. And they BETTER not try and get Pierce.

He is not bad for 4 million a year. Bosh scores 4 more points and gets 3 more rebounds a game and he got 19 million more a year.:lol::lol:

Its nothing against Vince. He's playing far better than I expected him to at this point in his career but the Mavs need someone 10 years younger.

With the money we trying to spend on this penny penching budget who can we get better?

I really hate that Cuban is operating this team like this

I damn near can't take it

Its not penny penching though. You got 14 million to spend. I'm not using 4 of it on Vince. Not with guys like Evan Turner and Stephenson out there. If it was me i'd using that 14 million on 3 or 4 guys and stretching it out.

I'd actually penny pinch for real. I'd sign a combination of Ed Davis, DJ Augustin, Andray Blatche and Evan Turner. Realistically we probably can get 2 of those guys MAYBE 3. Not sure what their market is. But I def. wouldn't waste it on Deng or Ariza.

Stephenson the guy I want. IMO, he's the only guy who can save this offseason unless they take the approach of signing a few guys.

Dirk took a massive paycut for this shit though. Crakkka know he not getting Parsons and still didn't even sign Vince back for 4mill.

Man Cuban just tried to over pay the shit out of Parsons. I like the player but not the money. You can get 3 rotational guys for that money you willing to give Parsons.

Being honest, aside from Lebron and bosh this year's free agency ain't deep at all. Save your money imo unless it's a real can't miss FIT for the team and not just a body taking up space..
