~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Free Agency Starts - 7/1 12am ~*~

Peace to my brother Chris Bosh over there in Ghana. Congrats on the new deal. Its your squad now homie. You got the JUICE.

So what about our Brother Lebron X. You still believe he's a black activist going against cac's and sticking it to the man? Or has that changed?

Is bledsoe still there or is he a FA???
that's two starting pg's in dragic and Thomas.

Like my papa used to say having two of the same thing is like having none of that thing.....

He is a RFA.

The Suns have Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Tyler Ennis and now Isaiah Thomas.

when though?

lol

since the free agency period started?

probably not

Funny thing is the Heat only gave him that contract because Lebron left and they didn't want to give Bosh in this stage of his career a max contract.

So Miami instead of making a play in 2016 said fuck it. Show you Pat didn't have faith in 2016

Wade can't pimp nobody .......pat ain't do shit in 2010

Riley knew Lebron wasnt coming back. So he went out and signed dudes who had history with Lebron. 2 dudes that he know have malice in their hearts towards him. Those signings were an act of war.

Those meetings were just for show.

Naw, I think lebron would have gone back for two years. Miami did absolutely nothing.

Lebron's problem was he didn't want to have to carry Cleveland on his back

During the finals, dude had to work way too fuckin hard just for his team to stay in the game. By the fourth quarter he had nothing left. Dude had to carry the offense and defend a point guard or whoever else was hot. Lebron isn't 24 anymore. Dude looked worn down mentally at the end of that series. He wasn't even like that with Cleveland.

Dude got cheap, when Lebron was the reason that fans in Miami cared about basketball. He was the reason the value of the franchise shot up.

He never had an influx of young talent. It was cheap talent.

That Greg Oden experiment failed miserably.

Bledsoe is restricted. Everyone pretty much wrote it off he'd be returning to the Suns because they'd match anything.

They already had too many point guards but it worked for them. You can't have Thomas there. That shit is overkill. They must have some deals to do. They must got a deal out there for Dragic or Bledsoe. Even then they still don't need Thomas. They trying to point guard dudes to death.

Right. Lost Asik, Lin....maybe Parsons maybe not. Either way they're a worst team now. Did all this shit for a Melo pipedream and then tried to settle for Bosh.

and they gave the lakers a first round pick. You know Cuban is  even if they don't get Parsons he put the rockets in cap hell.

looks like OKC is in the lead for gasol...once he and melo commit I'm done til the season start...fuck this shit

Right so that's 3 players costing them 50 million. These dudes talking about all these other guys like Bledsoe....they don't have the money for them. Its pretty much vet. minimum and 2.5 million exception or die. The could've got more for Asik than a salary dump. They played themselves.

Gambled and lost.....

But

U don't win if u don't play. It's crazy how whenever a FA is mentioned you hear Houston as a potential landing spot for them and how Morey can make the numbers work.

Plus, has the asik trade went thru? Did NO clear the cap space? If not then he may be back giving us more pieces to work with

Im saying Riley knew after their season exit meeting. Once Lebron was non committal it was obvious. The more time passed the plan shifted from courting Lebron to "we need to move on."

I agree Lebron had no help during the Finals and that shit aggravated me, I can only imagine his frustration.

Right. It was well played. Very foolish by the Rockets. They were feeling themselves too much after getting Dwight and James. Should've just kept building around them and re-upped that 900,000 for Parsons.

He's still Inkosi

So what is it now? Is it still fuck the Heat and their fans? Or you a Cavs hater now? Or you aint gone root against him anymore since he "went home"?

Morey better be on the phone with his agent.

You right. I can appreciate the aggressiveness. But I said it a few weeks back. Its foolish to decimate your team for a pipedream. I seen the Mavs do it at first hand. Just very foolish. Mind you, we actually won the championship and did it so that may be worse. But they had this pipedream of Dwight and Deron.....you can't work on pipedreams. You don't know what these dudes thinking. Lebron just left Miami for Cleveland. You can't call it.

Last I heard the Asik trade hasn't gone through but Pelicans should have no problem clearing the space last I heard. Gonna be interesting to see what they can do.

man.. can you imagine when they go with a big lineup and Wiggins being the smallest person on the floor? dude is the same height as Lebron though...

yep aside from BK...pelicans and cavs are teams I'll keep my eye on as well...would've been looking out for the rockets too if they had signed bosh lol...bulls too if they land melo

Was driving home, got catch at train crossing, checked in and saw Bosh committed...

Man what the fuck is going on...

man.. can you imagine when they go with a big lineup and Wiggins being the smallest person on the floor? dude is the same height as Lebron though...

they have no reason to part with wiggins.

love either comes or he doesn't they can win the east right now.

no way i part with wiggins. you got no leverage if love is not saying he will sign with someone else..

you can have our draft picks

they ain't theirs anyway their the heat's

what ever happened w/ the rockets pursuit of rondo...mchale should be able to use some old contacts and get a sucker trade from the celtics like how the lakers be doing teams and shit

He's still Inkosi

Naw I ain't no Cavs hater. I gotta find a new team to hate but I GUARANTEE I wont' waste no hate on the damn Heat. I can tell you that now.

Like I told you already. I liked Lebron. I hated the Heat, organization and their bandwagon fans and Dwayne Wade. I won't root for the Cavs but if my squad don't win? I hope Bron brings a title to his hometown. That seems to be his mission and its a HUGE risk to leave Miami for a team that was one of the worst in the league last year.

Pau Gasol turned down a two-year, $10M-plus per deal with the Lakers, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
