Kyrie Irving has made recruiting pitch to LeBron James, sources say. ESPN reports Kyrie as saying Cavs will get LeBron all the help he needs

They say bron might wear #32 for the Cavs this year

http://msn.foxsports.com/ohio/story...e-expect-to-make-move-soon-sources-say-070714

''One interesting note from an NBA source: If James returned to Cleveland, he would wear No. 32. He wore No. 23 with the Cavs before and No. 6 with the Heat. The source also indicated James is close to announcing his decision.''

 another note from your link..

One Western Conference general manager told FOX Sports Ohio a lot of people around the league are actually hoping the Heat's Big 3 returns intact. "One thing (Miami has) proven the past four years is they can't add any real talent around those guys," the GM said. "Their run will be over in two years, and it may already be. I'd be considerably more scared of LeBron in Cleveland or Phoenix."

I think Wiggins would thrive off lobs and back cuts alone playing with Lebron and Kyrie. I mean thrive. Not to mention finishing on the break. And you could let him play the other team's best perimeter player instead of LeBron having to do it.

With a ball-handler like Kyrie and a playmaker like Lebron, Wiggins would probably come in averaging high teens per game and wouldn't need to be a playmaker (low TOs and higher percentage shots).

Channing Frye for 8 mill a year fam?

Come on son

If Bosh goes to Houston I'd expect Houston to ship Harden and Lin to different teams but get something like Klay Thompson from Golden State. That'd be a nice 5 Howard, Bosh, Parsons, Thompson, and Beverly.

No way the Rockets ship Harden in that scenario, none at all. The only way the Rockets ship Harden in a deal is if they know for a fact they can get Lebron and Harden has to be dealt to make it work.

Aside from his piss poor defense which will get better once he starts giving effort, Harden is way more dynamic of a player than Thompson. Thompson is a great shooter but that's about it for him right now. He benefited from playing in a system that gives him the green light to shoot a 3 every time down the court. His defense ain't nothing to brag about, his handles are aren't good for guard and he's not a good rebounder at his height compared a to a shorter Harden who grabs more.

Harden is the Rockets best play maker for his teammates (6.1 assists lead team), Thompson is not that type of player. Once this McHale experiment is over and a real coach comes along, Harden will be utilized better instead of playing one on one ball at halfcourt all the time.

pretty much the Cavs would be the East coast version of the clippers but with the best player in the league and in a weaker conference. AND they have 3 first round picks next season!

my boy from ATL said the Cavs have been trying hard to push through a deal for Millsap.

Honestly, LeBron would be nuts not to take the Cavs offer once you think about it. And they're young. And can get younger next year.

You sounding like Rich Paul.....

My only concern is who's your #1, 2, and 3 options. For it to work IMO it has to be Dwight 1 or he won't play hard, Bosh 2 he's better there, and Harden 3. Does that work for Harden or do you flip flop with Harden and Howard for the #1 option every other game?

I think Klay wouldn't have a problem being the third option. Beverly is a good defensive pg and Howard and bosh are great defenders. Parsons and Klay just need to play passing lanes and keep their man in front of them.

Stretch-4s seem to be a hot commodity on open market. McBob, Frye the latest off the board. $18M/3yrs for Patterson is looking pretty good

I think your #1 option has to be Harden because as I said, he's the best play maker on the team and can set guys up if he's not scoring. Howard can't be #1 option in this stage of his career, he's turnover prone when he gets doubled in the post and teams can just do the "hack a Howard" to get him out of rhythm.

If Bosh is here, Howard will be a great second option because he would have room to operate in single coverage since players won't leave Bosh open as much. You can have Bosh and Howard rotate as the 2nd options.

Man I would run pick and rolls 90% of time with Harden going either with Bosh or Howard. It would be pick your poison because Howard will have tons of alley hoops and Bosh would knock down mid range jumpers. If teams focus in on the pick and roll, dish the ball out to the open 3 point shooters. Even dumb ass McHale should see that....

Report: LeBron James' 'inner circle' wants him to go back to Cleveland

http://www.si.com/nba/2014/07/07/lebrons-inner-circle-wife-sign-cleveland-cavaliers

LeBron James' "inner circle", including his wife Savannah, reportedly believe he should return to Cleveland, according to Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.

Sheridan cites a "source who has been briefed" on James' free agency. Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski previously reported that James' agent, Rich Paul, was also pushing him to return to the Cavaliers. According to multiple reports, James and Paul will meet face-to-face this week with Heat president Pat Riley.

Speculation that James might return to Cleveland heated up Sunday night after ESPN's Chris Broussard wrote on Twitter that he believed the Cavaliers were now the frontrunner to sign James.

Wojnarowski reports that the Cavaliers are trying to clear enough cap space to be able to offer James the max contract he is said to be seeking. Cleveland and Brooklyn reportedly have agreed on a deal that would send Jarrett Jack and his $6.2 million cap hit to the Nets, but the deal is contingent upon Cleveland finding a team willing to take Brooklyn's Marcus Thornton and his $8.7 million expiring contract.

Wonder if he's talked to Melo... Y'all know the power of the pussy when it comes to these types of decisions right? :D

^^^^ that's the same inner circle who wanted him to go back after the decision

I think he listens but ultimately makes his own decision

Yea he did say this, he listens to other opinion but he makes his decision...

Shit may have changed

Yeah but he'd experienced the Cleveland situation first hand and knew it had run it's course. That's a helluva young core they have their now, and he's older and may be a little tired of doing all that heavy lifting in Miami, especially with D Wade getting older and slower. Not sure if Granger and McRoberts can trump Kyrie, Wiggins, Thompson and 3 1st round picks next year.

We will see tho...

Can you imagine Uncle Drew leading the break with LeBron and Wiggins on the wings?!

Kyrie stay hurt tho

I don't think Riley is finished.. If Mickey decided to say eff the tax and he pays it then look for riles can get Gasol and possibly go after Deng

But we will see

All these niggas in this thread dry hating because they afraid the Heat dynasty is going to continue

You have niggas in here acting like Miami just did not smash every team in the East with little to no effort.

Like we did not win 27 games in a row with the same Roster. The Heat don't need to blow up their team and only need to add some pieces.

Heat got niggas shook.

the two moves today are nice when you look at them collectively (if they bring in someone else too). That definitely gives them more depth.

they're not bad moves but the heat weren't a josh mcroberts and danny granger away from opting out. They could've got guys of their caliber without lebron and them dudes opting out.

let's see josh can take shane's place
and danny could fill tha void that was left by mike miller getting cut....

Let's just look at what we know, assuming james and bosh returns..

Cole,napier
wade,granger,allen
james
bosh
mcroberts,haslem

let's say morrow, billups, birdman, beasley and a surprise signjng if gasol

what do y'all think about that lineup?

those 2 players are solid bench players which is an automatic improvement from last year..

Josh, cole, granger, birdman, allen, and possibly oden and another wing player, and thats a very solid bench...

pat riley is praying that bosh leaves...

i believe so as well; either bosh thinks bron is leaving or he thinks he isnt wanted back; if he thinks he isnt wanted back, that means heat believe they can sign melo...

P.s. I do not believe wade would have opt out if lbj was leaving; no way in hell; just cant believe he doesnt know whats going on with lbj...

bron ain't 18 - 25 no more either. 30 is 30 not matter how it's cut.

Although bron is in his prime (basketball wise), the heat still haven't addressed some of the issues that are going to remain coming into next season. I like napier, but a rookie is a rookie and he is going to have to prove himself over the year.

they have address the issue of their bench and they are still addressing issues; who said they are done signing players?? They are competing with other teams and the free agency period isnt over yet; alot more to be done...
