Opting in would've been the worse case scenario, James, Bosh and Wade would've made $19million, next year with UD making near $5 million. They was prepared for this, that's why no other player is on the roster besides Cole.

I think Riley was more prepared for this than most think.

Talk to the big 3 see what they want per year
Meet with free agents to see their prices
Meet with big 3 to relay who he can get for what price
Big 3 meet to see who gonna take what
Big 3 meet with Riley with the final number
Then Riley began to sign players...

When I say hope they opt in I don't mean literally. I mean give a commitment or sign long term deals.

As is, he is handcuffed with recruiting because not only does he not know the cap space he is dealing with, but he doesn't know who he has in the fold yet. My point is if it were a foregone conclusion ANY of them were coming back, that deal would have been in place by now.

As is he has nothing concrete from the big 3 and therefore he can give or get nothing concrete from perspective signees. That me friend, is a fail.

During and after the finals the Heats fans here provided us with laundry lists of fantasy football type lineups and rosters for the coming season while telling us Riles had in in order. Most of those guys are no longer an option or possibility and Riles has now worked his way down to 4th tier guys. So now when we rightfully say "guys what happened?" we only get called haters.

Why haven't we been hearing more about Lance Stephenson? Am I missing something? Probably one of the most gifted guys out there, he's young, unrestricted free agent and the Pacers want him but don't want to re-sign him for the money he's asking for and don't really have a say in the matter if they don't want to pay the luxury tax.

Fuck all these other names......if Lance wants 10-12 million a year he's getting it here. Fuck a Hayward, Deng or whoever else.

The defeat by the Spurs was so decisive and exposed this year's Heat team especially Wade that now people are questioning everything about the Heat -

Bottomline is that the Heat will be a good team if James is on the team - but does Wade have anything left to give as a starter or should he go the Ginobuli route and be the sixth man and they get a young athletic type to take Wade's role (not his place)

He can play the 3 though. He has a 6'10 wingspan......dude is 230....I think you can get away with him at the 3 spot. You can work ways around him. You'd still need a bigger 3 though as a backup for in closing minutes when you need a stop and you gotta sit one of them preferably Ellis for defensive purposes.

Once that happen it was pretty much a wrap LeBron was going to the Heat. Also outside of Wade, noon of them had a ring. Now with them having one and the lockout coming everyone wanna get paid. I deeply believe they will resign but this is nothing like 2010.

Wade can't be trusted in late May or June. They kept him out of 35 games and he was still shit in late May and June. The only way this could have worked was to throw Wade under the bus and give his $12 million to someone worth it.

Bro I don't have a problem with Wade game. He worked on his jumper to the point it's very reliable. The mid range area is where he operated effectively & efficiently throughout the season. The game plan wasn't tweaked enough to take advantage of the other players. The Spurs changed their system, because in the past, when Tony went don't so did the flow of the offense.

Cutting Mike Miller fucked that flow up.
Wade rested Mike Miller started and you didn't have to start Ray and fuck up the rotation. That's was Lebron biggest problem. The rotation wasn't consistent, guys wasn't able to get into a routine.

They know where Wade's knees are at this point. Dude had his best shooting season(percent wise). So there's plenty left in the tank, just gotta find a reliable backup to fill in when Wade rest.
