This made no sense whatsoever. They just laid out a bunch of trained soldiers and run away cause of a litter of dogs? They have swords and armor!
Thee were a couple things going on:
1- Her brother was so brainwashed he wasn't trying to go with her
2- Alarms were going off and more men were on their way
3- Crazy ass Ramsay was kicking people's asses with no shirt and 2 short knives.
They're Greyjoys. Iron Born. They don't sow. The Greyjoys rebelled against the kingdom. They don't fuck around. Plus Ramsey is a bastard. To run from a bastard who has the heir to the throne locked in a cage is nonsense.
Without giving away anything, this is a deviation from the books.

Different accents depending on where you are/from. Prince Oberyn, for instance, has a different accent....as does Varys. But you know like everyone else...British accent is the official accent of antiquity in tv/film. Lol

I think I see where the showrunners are going with this. They went this route to help deal with the issue of the amount of new characters introduced in Book 4 & 5. They are driving towards a plot point without having to depend upon introducing new characters this season and maybe beyond. I'll leave it at that.

The Greyjoys are one of the bad ass families in Westeros. Asha Greyjoy (Yara in the show) is one of the bad ass characters in the series. To show her give up so easily in the show goes against her family's traits and her character's characteristics. But as I mentioned in the my last post, the show runners are going to route to avoid having to introduce three new characters at this stage in the game.
Just keep watching… I'll leave it at that.
Maybe she's mad her brother didn't do a good enough job of fingering her when he came back home.

What if they introduce the characters you are referring to in the next episode or 2?
If they are not following the chronology of the books 'word for word'... Then you do not know that they won't introduce the characters you just mentioned in the near future.
The folks who have not read the books don't know shit about 3 new Greyjoy characters.
And you seem salty that the producers are not following the books exactly the way YOU think they should.
