Been done to me, man. Shit is not cool:(
"Watching your vicious bastard die, gave me more relief than a thousand lying whores" (Looks at Shea) :itsawrap:

My nigga Tyrion
 Dude Tyrion was like Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven when told that Morgan Freeman's character was killed and he snatched the whiskey after he hadn't drank in 10 years. You could SEE the snap. First was the collapse, then the light switch.

Tyrion was like:

<iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hTOKJTRHMdw?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
lol Fuck You, Fuck you, fuck you I'm OUT  Classic clip
peter dinklage is an ill actor tho...you could almost taste the bitterness pouring out of tyrion in that room:yes:
Dude is repping as the ONLY American in the entire show. Everybody else are Brits, Irish, Australian or some other UK place. He is the ONLY American puttin it down. Tyrion, Arya, and one more i can't remember right now are my favorite characters.

Questions by Simply Sickenin'
- I thought Stannis would have a easier time with the Iron Bank. Me too. But they are banking on a winner. And if it were Daenerys I think they would have given her the loot. Nobody likes Stanis - nobody, and it's his own fault. He's an old bitter ass.
- Damn Daenerys' dragons got real big, real fast
- Why does Daenerys or anyone else want to rule? 212 people left .... just that day. That shit looks boring as fuck. Man, people talk bad about President Obama, they don't know how hard it is to rule. Dude went in with a head of black hair, that shit is damned near completely gray now. Heavy is the head who wears the crown...no lie.
- The court system in the seven kingdoms are just as corrupt as courts in real life .... niggas straight lying through their teeth. - I was thinking the whole time, "Damn, Tyrion feels like Black men in the US court system. Innocent as hell, but still no chance at getting out of it.
- This whole episode is quotable lines from the first three season roll call.
- Tywin:
"father children named Lannister." I guess that's Tywin way of saying that he knows the truth about Ceresi's children. - He knows. Doesn't care.
- Ceresi:
"When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die." She knew what she was doing having Shae come out last. She knew that would cause Tyrion to lose it. Well played Ceresi, well played. - Still, Tyrion comes out like a lion with teeth. Dude was like, "Fuck all y'all. I didn't do it, but I wish I hadda killed that prick. I'm innocent of that. The only thing I am guilty of is being Black...um, I mean a dwarf. And yeah, bitch. This court is a joke. I want my fight! Question is is he going to choose Jaime or Bron?
- I wonder if Ceresi has something on Shae or is she just pissed that Tyrion dropped her.- Shae is just pissed and doesn't see the big picture as most women don't. This is why women often fail when in charge. Those type A My Way bitches can't see the forest for the trees sometimes. Tyrion was trying to save her life but she was too stupid to see it, and still doesn't.
-Trial by combat. So is Tyrion going to be the one fighting or does he get to have a champion? And if he does, Bronn or Jaime?-This is the question

Great episode. Among the best in the entire series. But why are folks talking about the things in the book when this thread is about the TV show? Lets not ruin this thread with that nonsense like folks are doing in the Walking Dead thread.

nah im good man i was just checking to see if yall had any chicken i see you do, im out.
:roflmao:
I guess. I just thought Varys...if anyone...would have faith that lil man is smart enough to not go out like that and hold some cards for him. niggas in the 7 kingdoms aint shit...and we already knew them hoes wasn't shit...but it pained me to see Shae go that route. :smh:
Remember a few episodes ago when pod visited Tyrion in the dungeon and told him that some mysterious dude offered him a great reward if he made himself a witness against Tyrion? Pod was like nope, not doing it and Tyrion was like don't be a fool and throw your life away, either accept their offer or leave king's landing. We can see which route he took.

Varys knows how this game is played. He knows that he has nobody to really back him up, and that most people secretly despise and has contempt for him. He know that to refuse would mean that his days are numbered and why throw your life away over a lost cause? Don't forget that varys is just like little finger, in that they're both crafty as fuck and put self preservation over just about everything.
Oh shit that's exactly what it is. Its the NYC of Westeros.

I know what you're saying but the Iron bank isn't in Westeros.

can't wait for week next!!..

Tyrion's saga has been one of the most gripping storylines of the 4 years this show has been on the air. His trial perfectly showed what Kings Landing is all about. Nobody knows you when your down and out (Varys), No slight whether monumental or miniscule is forgiven or forgotten (Meryn Trant and Pycelle), Self-interest will always trump affection and friendship (Shae turning on Tyrion AND Sansa), and you can get away with murder if you are smart and sly enough (Olenna Tyrell). I also notice Margaery has know issue watching Tyrion and Sansa swing for a crime she knows they didn't commit.

I also love the Iron Bank. They probably think all Westeros nobility is beneath them but there is money to be made so they tolerate whomever can afford or is likely to pay. a few ships, a few 1000 men only, they were right "These numbers don't seem likely to add up to a Happy Ending".

Good Episode.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 6 'The Laws of Gods and Men' Discussion and Review (S4E5)

Ramsay was kicking ass in this scene.

When everyone is wearing armor and rocking longswords and a dudes shows up shirtless with 2 knives and is happy about the situation......leave him the fuck alone. I thought he was the cowardly pussy type that liked torturing helpless men but nope....if there's a fight he will be front and center.

I haven't read the books either but watch Prince Oberyn's body language closely when Tyrion demands a trial by combat.

He sits up... very intrigued & highly anxious.
(As if to say... "Little man got some MAJOR BALLS. Go figure.")

Out of everyone... I think Oberyn's reaction had the most foreshadowing.

Then I watched the preview for the next episode 7.
We see someone we haven't for a REAL LONG TIME.

THE MOUNTAIN.

I think Tywin (and/or Cersei) will demand THE MOUNTAIN fight Tyrion.

He sees it as his last chance to kill Tyrion... like he's always wanted to since his birth... and will feel justified in his choice.

Now if he does.... then Prince Oberyn will fight for Tyrion.

AND THIS is the climatic battle that has been brewing all season long.

It makes sense. (to me)

Oberyn has wanted to kill the Mountain since he first got to King's Landing.

And that shit will be on some TROY shit.

Prince Oberyn gonna go all 'Brad Pitt' on Boagrius... I mean The Mountain.

Wait for it.

I see this working out two ways.

One, tyrion used the information that Jamie gave him to come to the conclusion that Jamie is going back to casterly rock. He knows that if he died then the only person to carry on the lannister name is Jamie and he can't do it as long as he's in the kings guard. That's why he said I'M ON TRIAL FOR BEING A DWARF. If he weren't a dwarf this wouldn't be happening because everything he did would be justified to an extent and he'd be just fine. So he knows that by choosing trial by combat he walks because all he has to do is pick Jamie as his champion. No way in hell does tywin let anything happen to Jamie because then the dwarf lives and he's the one to carry the lannister name forward. So he puts a cake in against Jamie, Jamie wins and tyrion walks.

Or

As you stated the mountain is chosen as the champion for cersei/tywin. WRONG MOVE. Prince Oberyn sees the mountain and goes apeshit. He jumps at the chance to be tyrion's champion and fight for him just so he can get his revenge for the death of his sister, thus fucking up their little arrangement and leaving the lannisters with no true allies and the iron bank on that ass.

You guys that's piecing this shit together are smart because I think both of these scenarios were previously mentioned and I told my wife the same thing. She's read the books but she's been good about not telling me shit or only telling me when I ask and keeping her mouth shut when she knows I've figured it out.

I think one of these two will happen.....

Was there ANY FIGHTING in this episode? None that I remember.....

That is amazing... A show this good goes am entire episode without a lick of fighting or death and it's easily the best episode this season..... Tyrion deserves an award for that scene when he snapped because you could FEEL the emotion coming from him

They battled in the beginning when Theon's sister tried to save/free him.

Ben Mancewicz is getting on my fucking nerves with his inability to remember names. If he can't remember names, let someone else do the review
