Official 2014 NFL Combine thread

Mike Evans is 20
Kelvin Benjamin is 23

age isn't THAT big of a deal at wr if he hits he can play till he's 33 and that's a great career. or they both could bust and be out the league at 26 its QB where its an issue.

Yeah that's still crazy man.. That's bigger then the TE slated to go first off the board

yup and we need him especially if he's that fast and a good route runner. him and davis on opposite sides

Greg Robinson, dude is hoping to run a 4.8 - 4.9 40 time!!!!

2014 NFL combine: Auburn OT Greg Robinson wows at weigh-in
February 20, 2014 10:08 AM

The 2014 NFL combine has barely begun and already the news is flowing.

While player work outs won't begin until Saturday for several of the underclassmen who scouts haven't yet officially measured, just weighing can create a positive buzz -- as was the case Thursday morning with the news that Auburn redshirt sophomore left tackle Greg Robinson came in at an impressive 6-foot05, 332 pounds, according to Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com. Robinson's long frame is even more considering he has 35-inch arms, longer than any player measured at the 2014 Senior Bowl.

The measurements are similar to those posted by former Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, who weighed in a year ago in Indianapolis at 6-5, 339 pounds and with even longer arms (36 3/4 inches). Fluker, who starred at right tackle for the Crimson Tide wound up being selected No. 11 overall by the San Diego Chargers. His length and power made Fluker effective for the Chargers with the rookie starting 15 of 16 regular season games and earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Like Fluker, Robinson is a work in progress as a pass blocker but his massive size, strength and aggression make him a dominant run blocker. Robinson's boasts more upside than any other offensive lineman in the 2014 draft, which is why he has recently jumped ahead of the more polished Jake Matthews, who starred at left and right tackle over four starting seasons at Texas A&M.

40 times are useless for OL but Robinson nearly mauled every DE he went up against this year. It was as if they were all wearing roller skates when he was driving them off the line of scrimmage

One of the more dominating OLinemen I have seen in some time

Yea dude was a two shot put champ in high school....
That's raw power

I think the Rams might pull the plug on Robinson...

There's Auburn ties with fisher. Jeff don't need this combine to see what Robinson is about.

Welp, Cyrus kuondijo or whatever did not alleviate any concerns about his ability to defend against speed rushers in the nfl by running 5.5 40 yard dashes . He had a solid 10 yard split though but I don't know why he struggles in pass protection.

His ass got worked repeatedly this year against good speed rushers in the sec. I always thought he was overrated.

ANALYSIS
Strengths
Has long arms and excellent overall body mass. Outstanding run blocker with the strength and power to wash down half of the line. Creates a surge and generates power from his lower body. Good get-off and body control. Excellent reach-blocking, chipping and releasing to the second level. Very good balance in his set and is quick to cut off the rush. Can maneuver his hips, shuffle, slide and mirror. Has a strong punch and replaces his hands. Very athletic in vertical sets.
Weaknesses
Could stand to refine his technique in pass protection and do a better job finishing blocks. At times will quit after contact and let defenders come underneath or get over the top -- handwork is too passive. Developing eyes and awareness vs. the blitz -- still learning how to adjust to overload pressure and could improve switching off blocks. Aggressively overextends and occasionally loses balance and falls off blocks.

Bottom Line
Big, strong, athletic, overpowering left tackle with the raw potential to become a premiere, franchise left tackle. Is only a third-year sophomore and two-year starter and still must improve his hand use, footwork and technique. However, he is undeniably gifted and capable of walking into a starting-left-tackle job in the pros and paving the way in the run game.

Today's the only day that i'm not really interested in watching although my squad could make some additions at Guard and Center

Tomorrow I'll be keeping an eye on Landry, Beckham Jr, Allen Robinson, and Marquise Lee.

I'll Be watching Manziel, Bridgewater, Watkins, and Evans just for curiosity sake since there's no way my squads gonna be able to get them.

Monday and Tuesdays are the days for the PVR to be set

Looking forward to seeing; Clowney, Mack, Barr, Kyle Van Noy, Shazier, Attaochu, Marcus smith and Christian Jones on Day 3.

and pretty much all the DB's on Day 4

Y'all heard that gay shit they was talking about Greg robinson????

"He has the perfect bubble butt and meaty thighs that carry his power"

Famo I turned the tv off

dude from the eagles was in the barbershop today should have asked him his opinions on playing with Sams.

I think if you asked most athletes who have made it to the pro level they will say they know for sure they have had a gay teammate at some point

Charles Barkley as well as others have said they have had gay teammates

Dude I know that played in the league said the same

While I know dudes would prefer not to know it's not going to be as big of a deal as people think

Mann I'm amazed at how these 6'5 330 pounds dudes are swole and fast as shit

These the best athletes to me

Nigga 340 with speed

Got to get paid for that

Manziel runs a 4.63

Hmmm...

Thats roughly the same number

Cam, Tannehill and Luck put up the previous drafts! Hell, I believe Wilson put up a similar number. I said, all that to say this: It's fast but it ain't RG3, Mike Vick like fast! He better learn to throw from the pocket!:yes:
