NY Giants fans... Let the countdown to Clowney begin...

^--- LBs played good today.. but I agree we need a high pick on a LB

CJ Mosley better be in a Giants uniform next year

You gotta be careful picking a linebacker early though. They seem to always flop meanwhile the best linebackers in the league are like 2nd round picks and below.

Paysinger played well... but the others not so much... They kept letting KC's TE kill them today... :smh:

The REAL problem is OUR O-LINE... These guys are the WORST!!!... :smh:

... and our RBs are ASSSSS... :smh:

I'm done with Wilson... and Scott... Get those BUMS OUTTA HERE... :smh:

We need EVERYTHING!!!!!!... except.. WRs... :smh:

Yeah that's true. LB class looks kind of deep for next years draft, so I don't think it warrants a top 10 pick. Better spend that pick on a guard or tackle

O-line
LB

our major needs. RBs need to go too....scott at least. i still wld work wit wilson. when the New York Football Giants arent even competitive....time for a rehaul. that time is now. To Jerry Reese: You can stop pretending, you can stop putting air in da holey tire everytime you have to drive. FIX THE MUTHAFUCKIN TIRE!!!!

dead weight needs to GO! Old players who cant get it done no more. Past draft picks who havent shown anything? Gone. Killdrive & Fewell? Gone. its ok when we have to rebuild. Baltimore didnt have a problem doing it and they just won the SB. Fix the tire, Reese. Fix it.

*im high as a muthafuka off dat bullshit ass showing...sorry if i rambled crazy*

OK....

We traded for Jon Beason...

He was good at one time... BUT... Dude has been injury prone... and I dont know what he's got left.... :smh:

Is this a good trade???

We'll see... :dunno:

I was very surprised by this trade...not of the Panthers but of NY picking him up...even tho for a late round pick....it really shocked me!!! Sorry for ya NY!!! :D

No need to feel sorry for us... This is the natural order of Football... Every team goes through it at some point...:dunno:

It's time to rebuild, that's all... :dunno:

That's true

Seems like LB is a position where you don't have to draft a guy with a first rounder

Especially 4-3 Lbs

If you are looking for a 3-4 OLB you gonna need to commit a premium pick though

A message to any fan for any team:

If your team sucks, then the onus is on the coaches to the players to fix their issues and perform better. Drafting first round to later round rookies doesn't always solve the problem. They can underachieve just like a 10 year veteran. Teams that win are teams that train right, condition right, practice right, study film right, get proper coaching and execute plays right. They also have the will and desire to win. It is just that simple.

The Giants have good enough personnel to win games. If they don't, then the coach need to start rolling heads now and get people in that wanna be a part of their organization. Lastly, just like in other major sports, things operate in cycles. Teams that were once sorry become good through drafting and free agency, etc. Teams who were once good become sorry through free agency, coaching turnover, rookie to veteran atrition, underachievement, injuries, etc. Point is, don't trip too hard if your team isn't performing to expectations because eventually, they will get it right.

Yes the fuck I CAN... We can't run block... AT ALL.... :smh:

Beatty and Boothe... TRASH... Midget arms Pugh... although he trying his best... Isn't an NFL Tackle... Cordle... ASSS... :smh:

We are at our best when we're able to play action pass... :smh:

.... And don't get me started on our RBs... :smh:

Scott just straight up dropped the ball on that fumble... :smh:

Other than that.... I agree... We need some fuckin LBs in the worst way... :smh:

ALL THIS!!!!!:smh:

And now we just lost Snee for the SEASON!!!!!

It's how they lost that concerns me... :smh:

Championships are won and lost at the line of scrimmage...

... and right now... our O-Line is ASS... :smh:

We can't run... or pass protect... :smh:

MAKE NO MISTAKE... THIS IS MY TEAM FOR LIFE...

I just feel that this season.... is a WASH... :smh:

That panther loss tasted terribe. Couldn't figure out WTF I was watching.

 Yessir

You obviously don't have a clue about our team... :smh:

NIGGA PLEASE... :lol::lol::lol:... :hmm:

Our O-Line is filled with re treads and BACK UPS... We drafted a tackle who our GM has projected to be A GUARD... :hmm:

Our starting Center... IS ALWAYS INJURED!!!!!... We have a tackle (Diehl) who is ONE ANLKE sprain away from retirement... and the other Tackle(Beatty) isn't even bigger than last year's TE... OUR LB Corps is damn near ALL RE-TREADS... 3 of our best D-Linemen are hurt up... Our secondary is hurt up... Our RBs are A.W.O.L. and M.I.A... BUT... That doesn't matter because NO ONE CAN BLOCK FOR THEM ANYWAY... :dunno:

Our QB is getting PUMMELED... Our WRs are the ONLY bright spot for the team... :smh:

Our coach is a PROVEN LEADER... NO DEBATE!!!... but... You've have to give him the players in order to lead.

This season is a BIG lesson for Gerry Reese...

When we lost O'Hara... Seubert and McKenzie... He should have replace them... NOW... I will say this... He tried with Baas and Locklear... but even those guys were temporary solutions... Hopefully.. in the up coming draft... We'll do something about our HORRIBLE line... and our HORRIBLE LBs too.

ALL true, Beatty was supposed to be a solution, he was a second round pick from the 2009 draft, this is why he's playing left tackle now, he was groomed filling in @ other spots on the line, but dude straight up CAN'T HACK IT, and this after being signed to a big contract last year!!!!

From Wikipedia:

On February 27, 2013, Will re-signed with the New York Giants. Will signed a 5-year contract worth up to $38.75 million, with $19 million guaranteed and a $12.5 million signing bonus.

Boothe was supposed to be an answer as well, Pugh was supposed to round out the line with Baas, Diehl & Snee, but all 3 have been injured thus far since OTAs, the actual starting 5 has NEVER played together this season, and with Snee going on IR, it AIN'T gonna happen!!!!

It also looks like Reese's run on very good, not just serviceable TE's has ended as well!

@ vandamation. First off. I know more about football than you think and I do watch your team play. Next, if you believe that your team needs an overhaul, then tell me where you are going to get all of these players that you need? For instance, the Giants are trying to get Beason who may not address your immediate needs, but it does show that the Giants are trying to solve whatever issues that is plaguing your team. Lastly, there was nothing I said that was untrue. It is common sense to know that your team isn't a scrub squad. They just in a funk and do have weapons to win games. Otherwise, none of the players on the roster would be there. BTW, I have more than enough Giants players on my fantasy squads to be invested enough to keep up with them, so let's not get carried away telling niggas what they know or don't know. Besides, if you know so much about your team, then take your ass to the Giants facility and tell them what they need to do instead of telling me. Lol

Knowing football and knowing the Giants are two different things...

Our team is full of scrubs... in particular on our O-Line...

It's one thing to be in a funk... SHIT ... I've seen Eli in a funk before... It's another thing when certain incapable of doing the job.

FUCK FANTASY FOOTBALL...

A blind man can see what it is... :dunno:

Now, I'm not calling for Reese to be fired... but... He's got to get it together...

If you know so much about the Giants then you know we never replenished our O-Line after '07... AND... if you know football then you know how championships are won... LINE OF SCRIMMAGE( I say ALL OF THE TIME)... If we suck on the line... then WE ARE DOOMED... :smh:

That's true shit. Especially for elite pass rushing OLB's in the 3-4.

Look, I know enough about your team to know their situation. I am not denying that they don't have issues. Where we disagree is the following:

No pro team is going to employ, let alone start anyone who doesn't have the skill set to play at the pro level. No team is going to employ a coach nor GM who can't coach nor acquire players who can't play at the pro level. If they do, then they will be replaced really quick! Team performance does affect a team's bottomline.

Next, getting rid of players based on underperformance in four games does not always solve the problem. Drafting first round rookies does not gurantee stellar performances nor does it gurantee championships.

Now, I am not disputing that your team doesn't have o-line issues or issues at linebacker and secondary positions. I do believe that your team have issues on a team level. But, I also believe that your issues are correctable with proper coaching, player conditioning, study, practice and preparation, etc. I don't believe that Giants player personnel is incapable of playing at the professional and competitive level, once again.

You are simply not used to the Giants going through a cycle which happens to most teams at some point. It is very difficult to consistently win games and championships for any team. Look at the Chiefs, they were boo boo last year and now are undefeated. There are other teams in a similar situation. So, it so happens that your team, along with a few other teams are going through a slump whereas other teams are playing beyond expectations(see: Browns).

Lastly, for all you know, your Giants could go on a 10 game winning streak and maybe go deep in the playoffs and/or beyond. I don't think they are mathematically out of playoff contention(yet). They can salvage their season, if they want. Just calm down and let them play a few more games before throwing in the towel. I will assure you that there will be personnel changes crackin, should the Giants hit half season or beyond winless.

As for you laughing at fantasy football or whatever, don't think that it isn't a valuable learning tool. You can learn a lot about player personnel and player performance playing it. Oh, you need to quit telling people what they know and/or don't know unless you are actually on an NFL staff or actually on the gridiron playing. You are just a fan, just like everyone else. You watch the games on TV or in the stands like everyone else. Point is, there ain't shit you know about the Giants that can't be researched online. Ya feeling yaself a lil too much on this football shit, dukesta!!! Good luck with your squad this Sunday.

Once you said... Fantasy Football... You LOST ME...:lol::lol:

FUCK FANTASY FOOTBALL... That shit has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE... :smh:

FUCK OUTTA HERE...

Not sure if Clowney will be our best move. May be better off trading down for more picks because we suck all over and one player will not save us from the same shit next year. Considering the likelihood of an overhaul of the front office and the coaching staff, I expect our core should be expelled as well... especially on defense.

Btw, who should be our next HC? I like the the brother SHAW from Stanford.

yo.. Clowney has looked unstoppable today

I may have to reconsider my position of trading down, even if we're in the position to draft Clowney

the only way they draft clowney is if they have the number 2 pick if they have the 1st they would be crazy not to take teddy bridgewater

Why would they take Bridgewater when they have Eli???

If they get a player that high in the draft, they're gonna want that player to play right away... And I don't care how bad Eli's been this year, Bridgewater would have to wait at least 2 or 3 years before he gets a chance at starting... If the Giants don't take Clowney... then they would probably take Jake Matthews before Bridgewater... Which in opinion, would be a smart move... Why take a QB take high when you don't have a line to protect him??

you think Eli will play forever or play as long as his brother???? Lets say Eli plays 2 or 3 more seasons what would be the disadvantage of having bridgewater in waiting
