I dont believe this at all. Its bullshit race baiting. And WTF does Racially Profiled mean while jogging? A cop is gonna stop you because youre out for a morning run? Cmon son. I jog almost everyday. And been doing it for years. And have never had a problem with anyone. And any black man thinking he shouldn't go outside because "Whitey" might get them, is just a bitch ass nigga. Not about running, but related. Real Sports did a story a while back about black people not swimming. Basically we were barred from public beaches by racists, and local govts wouldn't pay $ to maintain the public swimming pools whites used to get, so you got generations of black people not knowing how to swim.

The police rolled up on me while I was dragging a trash can to the curb so what are you talking about? I had cops roll up on me while I was waiting on the bus. Maybe you're a small person and the Police don't see you as a intimidating person. I like to run at night and don't want to run into a Police that shoots 1st and ask questions 2nd.

all those calling this bullshit fooling themselves, I dont dress like a thug have never sagged, no warrants no record. Have been stopped running, walking, cycling, sitting in a parked car with no tints of any kind on a well light street. I'm a big dude dont mean I'm lazy still I know to keep to well lit well traveled areas when running or even just out for my nightly walks just so I dont spend a few hours with police cause I match a description.

We need to get out of the habit of calling these situations "Driving While Black" or "Jogging While Black". We need to call what it really is.

This white lady was at the help-desk, but with her back turned. I said, 'Excuse me...'. This lady turned around and said, 'Oh my god!' The fuck? She then said, 'Hold on for a minute...' She turned to the side, to catch her breath, then asked how could she help me.
When I told her I wanted to get a library card, she looked at me like I had three heads.
Interestingly enough, that same lady ended up speaking to me every time I came into that library...
...but her first thought was, of course, I was there to jack the library, or rape her, or something OTHER than checking out books.
If someone can get profiled like that in a library, what in the fuck you think would happen in the streets?

I've never been stopped or profiled when jogging, even in all white suburban neighborhoods. I jog typically at 11:30pm to 1am too.

Never forget that BGOL is like 60% white and non-black. Seriously. I didn't say any of those things. I just don't see a lot of black people jogging outside and the ones that I know that jog, never had these problems. But it doesn't mean, its not happening..relax

I am one of the ones that jog with college gear on. I didn't even realize other folks did that too.
but even funnier I am more wary of jogging in the hood. I always wave at folks so they don't think I am running up on them. running in the hood will get your ass shot. hood niggas don't jog and they ain't used to seeing that shit.
